Mono Album Review?! YES PLS! That album heals the soul and will change your life. As an army once said, "Are you listening to Mono or is Mono listening to you?" As many ARMY know...part of the magic of BTS is that their songs sometimes feel like they are speaking to you and your situation and at times songs are released with freakishly good timing in your life. When mono came out, I was going through such a rough time in my personal and familial life and the entire playlist spoke to me so well, it was scary. Definitely react to mono by RM. It is definitely a playlist that initiates conversation and pushes you to think existentially. I would love for a reaction video on this but even if you just listen to it on your own, I'd be happy because you won't regret it.
He is a poet who can rap. This is one of my favourite RM song. It is very soothing 💜💜

im not sure if you know what Han means but its something you should know since you react to korean music.
Han is a mix of sorrow, nostalgia, anger, pain, and hope. It’s the emotional journey and state of mind of someone who has been gravely wronged but is powerless (made powerless) in society to take revenge but decides eventually to cling to the hope of a better future when you overcome your Han. A central aspect of han today is loss of identity. Han is most commonly associated with families who were separated during the Korean War. New generations of Koreans seemingly inherit han because of growing up in a divided country. Han is depicted in many aspects of modern Korean culture, such as film and contemporary pansori.
Han River is also a place where many people commit suicide or attempt to thats why he said it bears too much han. As of 2016, the suicide rate in South Korea is the 10th highest in the world (according to WHO) and the 2nd highest among OECD countries (according to OECD). There have been many that threw themselves into the Han River. Mapo Bridge, which was infamous for attracting many jumpers, has been named “Bridge of Life” and started displaying encouraging messages along the parapet.
this breaks my heart. societal pressure and expectations shouldnt be this huge for someone to bear especially at young age. we deserve better life
Han actually goes back to the Japanese colonial period of 35 years when Koreans were killed, raped, and exploited.
The whole album "playlist" mono is a masterpiece. It's meant to be played like a playlist from top to bottom. I was in tears by the end. Wonderful.

Mono mixtape, yes please 🥺🥺🥺💜💜💜 it's probably my most played BTS related album/mixtape from beginning to end. 24-min therapy, weariness and loneliness just washed up out of me after listening to the whole mixtape. When I got any song from mono while listening to my BTS playlist, I just want to listen to the whole mixtape.
