    Not sure how many times I’ve watched this. The solo gets better every time. Everybody should know this version of this tune.

      Duane really makes the tune come alive. Every note is the right note. I'm a fan (all over again).

    These are legit moments in song, one after another, and they stay with you long after the song has ended.

    That long piano coda is borrowed from "Racing in the Streets" by Springsteen.
    There are worse parts to pay homage to.

    • @lukeryalls
      @lukeryalls 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Caught that too! I always wondered if Bruce may have been inspired to borrow the organ solo in Racing In the Streets from Crocodile Rock. Very different song, I realize!

    • @mitchberg8229
      @mitchberg8229 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Holy cow. You're right. And given the themes of both songs, it's a brilliant nod.

    • @mitchberg8229
      @mitchberg8229 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And the guitar solo after the coda reminds me of the same idea from "Tunnel of Love" by Dire Straits. Which would also be a pretty brilliant reference.

    no one appreciates his song writing

  • @wilrockq1065
    @wilrockq1065 ปีที่แล้ว

    The music is great, the solo is superb but the lyrics are ridiculous. It’s not that they don’t mean anything, it’s that they feign that they do and that there’s some kind of deep meaning. Really They’re just a bunch of rhymes. Then there’s the antics of the drummer and the singer - all while Betts is playing this wonderful solo. It’s like don’t look at him, look at me. Betts meanwhile is just simply being moved by the music and his own discovery of the notes that make his solo moving to others. That is truly great musicianship.

      Lol wtf are you talking about, these lyrics are simple however they do convey a strong meaning that most people can strongly relate to, let’s see something you wrote
