Hi Derek, love your videos man, I know you are trying new formats and I just want to comment that I think videos with your face on them are better, we as humans relate with each other primordially through our faces, so if we as audience can see you interacting with the objects we all as fans love the videos can be much more enjoyable, anyway, I wish you the best of luck with your projects.
I appreciate the feedback! I didn't intend to leave my face out of the frame necessarily, just sort of an unintended consequence but I totally get what you're saying, it's a great point. I'll be sure to try that next time using a secondary camera. :)
I have both of their mother books (one for earthbound and one for mother 3) and especially the one for mother 3 is soo damn good :). I just finished mother 3 a month ago and I have to say it was better than expected. It's in my top 10 Games of all time now. Almost everything in that game is totally unique and different to all the other RPGs I know.
Played it a long, LONG time ago when the patch first came out. I somehow barely remember any of it though. This will be a very interesting run, I think! :)
I have, haven't used them in a DS Lite though so I can't really vouch for how they'll behave. I've had a few carts though and they both worked well enough for a play through. I think as long as you know they're "bootlegs" or reproduction cartridges, and pay accordingly, (I wouldn't spend more than $20 or so) then you can't go wrong. I've been playing mine on my Gamecube Gameboy Player without issues.
