    Yo, I got Lumix and whatever, but dam, you did a great job on this video as far as the right moments and composition. Your edit is Great man. And honestly your color grade is impressive too. Respect.

    Wow man I really am overwhelmed by having found your video. This looks insanely good and knowing you use LUMIX too is so inspiring. I always find myself comparing to others with Sony fx3 and whatever but wow man it’s crazy how you mastered the use of this equipment. I also really appreciate and value you as a filmmaker sharing your knowledge with us all in the comments, I find that is really admirable for, you responding everyone and not gatekeeping a thing. Wish it would be like this always.
    I am following you everywhere now because I really wanna follow your content and engage with it because you deserve it! Here you have support from Spain! Total admiration bro 🖤

      Carlos, thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate you taking the time to write this.
      I'll always try my best to share my knowledge with others. I only know what I do because of learning from other film makers sharing their knowledge with me!

    Amazing job! Do you shoot in the natural profile? Also do you use a specific lut pack in additional to clearly nailing your WB and exposure 👌

    • @CreatedByCal
      @CreatedByCal  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you!
      I shot in vlog and use a mix of gamut luts with my own tweaks.
      Using a monitor throughout the day helps me get the WB and exposure as good as I can:)

    • @danieljohnson4193
      @danieljohnson4193 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Really well shot. I use the gamut v log to conversion lut, I then use heista & adagio mix for final colour. Are you using a mist filter permanently. Looks like you might have a 1/8. Do you favour a particular brand?

    • @CreatedByCal
      @CreatedByCal  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@danieljohnson4193 I think I used a mist filter at this wedding up until the first ceremony. I haven't used one since. I used the 1/8 K&F concept filter

    How do you find yourself using the sigma 28-45 on a gimbal all day? was it tiring? also did you shoot all in 60p or 30? I guess you can use that lens at 30 and then use 60 for a punch in whenever you need the extra zoom right? also, did you use any filter?
    Sorry for the many questions but the quality it's just outstanding, love the work!!
    Last question, how does it compare to the lumix s prime lenses?
    Cheers!!!

    • @CreatedByCal
      @CreatedByCal  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The sigma is actually a tiny bit lighter than my old setup so it's actually no problem for me. I am very used to carrying a gimbal all day now though.
      All day shot at 30fps. I film in 6k so I was able to punch in a lot that way.
      I had a 1/8 mist filter on.
      I can't really tell a difference in sharpness and quality between the sigma and the primes. Which is important to me because a lot of zoom lenses look very 'zoomy' if that makes sense lol.
      My pleasure! Glad I can help.

      @@CreatedByCal that’s cool thank you so much for taking time in answering!
      Now I have a few other questions, or analysis, if you will.
      This lens range is poor and we all know it, but using the various crop inside the camera such as the 4k 60p or the 6k 30p + high estab (crop 1.4) And again 4k 60p + high estab (crop 2x) you basically get various ranges without switching lens and always benefitting of the 1.8 quality.
      If you end up shooting 4k 60p + high estab it literally becomes a 56 - 90 lens. Have you tried all these different crop factors?
      It’s interesting because you “supposedly” don’t loose quality, but is that so? Of course when you have a 2x crop and the 45 becomes a 90 it’s not like having a 90 on with its natural compression, but is it still good and useable quality?
      Thank you so much and sorry for the many questions but if that’s the case then this lens becomes more and more useful!

    • @CreatedByCal
      @CreatedByCal  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@RobertoVolta I find the focal length perfect for how I film. I only ever used to use a 35mm prime on my camera and only ever wished to be a bit wider or tighter at certain points. So 28-45 fits my needs perfectly for that. I did have a second shooter that was on a differently focal length to me throughout the day.
      You're right, its technically not the same when cropped in because of compression etc. I don't ever use any of the crop mode so I can't comment on it sorry. I'd doubt the image quality would change drastically though.
