Great !! Good job ! Any tips & tricks or any particular settings for s5 ii with 20-60 kit for wedding videography? First wedding with it. Coming from Gh5
not really, coming from gh5 myself there are a lot of similarities so you will feel comfortable with it. might be worth making use of the AF though. I use it to track the bride down the aisle.
Hi there! Great clip, do you recommend getting the 20-60 kit lens, do you think it might help for those tight shots? I saw a bundle with the 20-60 and the 50mm 1.8. Thanks
The guy’s shooting the whole wedding with the same lens I have, and it’s turning out great! Meanwhile, I’m over here shopping for another one because I feel like one isn’t enough… Though it seems like the secret isn’t in the number of lenses, but in how you make things happen 🤷♂😅
@@Rustam-bv9pi hey thanks for commenting. So I shoot 90% on the 50mm but I do have the 20-60 that comes out for those tight spots. So not all completely on the 50. Mostly though. Experience is the secret man. Just keep on with the lens and you’ll know what works and what doesn’t.
Fab channel lumix owner here too can i ask why 4k 60fps and wnd not 50fps ?and also whst size cards are you using as i noticed 5hrs remining on your screen but yiur ehootting 4k 😮
@@mcmediaandfilm Hey thanks for commenting. So I know I am suppose to use 50/25 in Europe (PAL) but in a digital world now it’s less important in my opinion as everything goes online. I like 60p as I can slow mo down to 40% rather than 50% which just feels a little nicer and also sometimes I can make more of a short moment I capture as I can go down to 40% even 30% with a little frame blending as I have more frames to play with.
I mean technically yes, but I do have an 18mm for those tight spots and the 85mm for other parts of the day but the 50 is 75% of my footage. I shoot to 60p with the APSC crop in the s5ii so these focal lengths are more like 24mm 70mm & 100mm
@@seanhodgeweddingfilms So 50 becomes a 70mm crop? I also have a sigma 18-35 at home... if I put it with an mc-21 adapter, I guess it should work well even with autofocus, right? and how much would the 18-35 become on the S5ii crop? Thank you.
Behind them beaut shots
Nice bud let’s see more of this 👍🏻
Thanks Tommy, will be posting more across the season.
Really interesting to see how other Lumix guys shoot weddings! Great vid dude 😀
Hey, cheers Sam. Will be awesome to see how you shoot one day too. Lets work together soon!

yes. I also have the 18mm prime. I do use it on occasions for the tight spots.
@seanhodgeweddingfilms thanks man I pulled the trigger for that combo, the 18mm has to wait. Hehe.
Could you help me please? Could you tell me about your profile setup and how you use white balance?

Oh and I have 512gb cards.
@@seanhodgeweddingfilms ahh I see perfect thanks Sean Interesting that .
Good stabilization
Yeah, the S5ii is really good for it.
What ibis settings for that reverse walk filming the bride and groom?
@@oskvisuals just out of the box settings. Not even turned the E stab on. I find that gives a weird quality to the footage.
@seanhodgeweddingfilms you are the gimbal! Thanks for the reply. I have a wedding this weekend and I'm using the s5ii for the first time.
@@oskvisuals good luck bro!
can the whole wedding be filmed only with this lens? now I got my s5ii and I was thinking that I should get this lens for starters.
