Being honest here, they absolutely knocked it out of the park with this soundtrack. Kirby music has always been great, sure, but man, this first level theme is easily one of the best in the entire series. It perfectly encapsulates the vibes of going on a brand new adventure in a new world, which makes sense not only from an in-universe standpoint but also because of the fact that this wonderful game is the first ever 3D mainline Kirby game. Welcome to the New World, Kirby.
This song made me want to get the new Kirby game really badly, I love the Kirby songs and there top tier. And I gotta say I can listen to this song for an entire century without getting sick of the song.
My other favourite first level theme would be: Whispy Woods Land (Kirby’s Pinball Land), The First Hole (Kirby’s Dream Course) and The Adventure Begins (Kirby’s Return to Dream Land and Kirby and the Rainbow Curse)
@@SGrailadventure2004 Good choices. Apart from the aforementioned Running Through The New World, some of my favorites as far as mainline entries go include the following: Green Greens (Kirby's Dream Land) Grass Land (Kirby's Dream Land 2) Peanut Plains (Kirby Super Star) Planet Popstar (Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards) Forest/Nature Area (Kirby & The Amazing Mirror) The Adventure Begins (Kirby's Return To Dream Land) And last but not least, Friendly Field (Kirby Star Allies). Yes, I know that last one isn't a first level theme in the traditional sense, but I still felt like counting it.
@@edwinve4112 Well, to um actually you back, while Kirby 64 is the first game to utilize 3D models, it isn't exactly 3D in the same way that games like Super Mario 64 and Crash Bandicoot were, thus helping it stand out from the crowd in a time where 3D platformers were all the rage. If anything, I'd say Kirby 64 is more of a 2.5D experience, kind of like Klonoa: Door To Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil, although I personally prefer how Klonoa did 2.5D if you catch my drift. But even then, if we wanted to go real crazy, HAL have technically been experimenting with 3D since Kirby's Dream Course, which can be considered a 3D Kirby game in the same sense that Sonic 3D Blast can be considered a 3D Sonic game.
The way this track plays when you have your "Breath of the Wild" moment and you see the landscape... and how the main melody kicks in as soon as you approach your first copy ability (if you run straight there at least). SO good.
This game is a great example of the next ‘journey’ of this wonderful and longest series. The series will continue as usual in the long run as long as it continues to provide with new gameplays or abilities
As someone who wasn't the BIGGEST fan of the idea of Kirby moving to 3D, this truly wowed me seeing it after the very dark and quiet jungle section Yeah I'm making this a copypasta whatchu gonna do about it
It wowed me once when I saw someone playing the demo It wowed me twice when I played the demo myself It wowed me the third time when I launched the full game Guess I'm easily impressed.
Always when I hear this song, this song sounds rather beautifully sad when being the happiest song. It feels empowering like you can take on anything but you realize your journey is just starting. So get excited as Kirby hits the 3D era! Forget your past, embrace the future of Kirby's copying abilities in a new space and transform into a car now
My first stage Kirby music overall placing (Top 10, as of 2024): 1st - Running Through the New World (Kirby and the Forgotten Land, the game's second main theme) 2nd - Floral Fields (Kirby: Triple Deluxe, the game's second main theme) 3rd - The Adventure Begins (Kirby's Return to Dream Land / Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, the game's main theme) 4th - Green Gardens (Kirby Star Allies) 5th - Green Greens (Kirby's Dream Land / Kirby Super Star / Kirby Super Star Ultra) 6th - Whispy Stage (Kirby's Pinball Land) 7th - The First Hole (Kirby's Dream Course) 8th - Stage 1 (Kirby's Block Ball) 9th - The Adventure Begins (Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, the game's main theme) 10th - Forest / Nature Area (Kirby and the Amazing Mirror) This track also sort of acts as the 'Kirby' versions to 2013 National Day song (One Singapore) and Floral Fields from Kirby Triple Deluxe
The beginning of my torture. I CANNOT move on until I rescue ALL Waddle Dees! Missing a single one? Run it back! We rescue ALL of them, or NONE of them!
Currently at the 4th world in the game, and I’m enjoying all the game has to offer so far! Easily see myself replaying this game again in the future! :)
As an Ace Attorney fan, the fact that the main melody sounds so similar to "A New Chapter of Trials!" from _Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney_ is hilarious to me
I really didn’t mind replaying each level 2 or 3 times to get 100%, solely because of how good the music is on EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
Happy second anniversary to Kirby and the forgotten land

Um actually Kirby and the Crystal Shards was the first 3d Kirby game 🤓

It's only been a year since its release but I already feel fond nostalgia for this utter slam-dunk of a series entry.
Dude this theme makes me so nostalgic-

It's been over 2 years now... how time flies 😔
Cant blame ya this game is peak
Incredible how much they managed to make it feel like Kirby was always 3D, the game doesn't feel out of place at all. S tier.
this was my first kirby game ever, and after this AMAZING opening, i can honestly say im team kirby now!!
It was the first 3D Kirby game as well.
This song is so amazing in every way humanly possible
I'm so going to remember this track in the years to come. One of the best games of the series.
Exploring a Strange Land (song that plays in levels for the first stage 1: Wondrous World) - Waddle Dee of the Stars: Discovery!

This is honestly one of the best grass tracks I've EVER heard! You know it's good when it's remixed many times in this game!
I'm getting Fossil Falls vibes from this.

That leitmotif first appeared in Super Star. RTDL is the first game to milk it.
@@AdonAdaniel i wouldn't necessarily say milking... it more so became a core part of Kirby music
@@aquaponieee it appeared 3 times in super star, I believe. it was a big part of the music even back then.

It’s just the second part of Green Greens, like how they added a second part to King Dedede’s theme. Green Greens is just kinda Kirby’s theme now
So true bestie
so so true

This is amazingly catchy! I can't stop replaying this!
The second I heard that snippet from the first trailer, I knew that I'd love it.

The best theme of the game!!
I love it!!!

The beginning of my torture. I CANNOT move on until I rescue ALL Waddle Dees! Missing a single one? Run it back! We rescue ALL of them, or NONE of them!
I feel like this is something out of a musical movie despite being a game
Now my brain demands someone to give this a vocal cover
Unsurprisingly this game is the best Kirby game on the Nintendo Switch and 2nd best Kirby game on the world
First being planet robobot
One of the most iconic intro songs in the beginning of a game. Love it! We will never forget you, Kirby!

Kirby and The Forgotten Land is basically a Disney movie.
The whole game almost reminds me of both Frozen and Zootopia lol
No, it's an Isekai. (Or I guess technically a Reverse Isekai)
dont insult kirby by comparing it to the worst thing in existence
