  • @AlokSomani

Yo, on your shot, I have three things I think will help tremendously: First, you have to bend your wrist back more in your set position, and let it be looser through the follow-through. That'll help you get more consistent arch. Second, you have to bring your off hand back a little bit more toward the side of the ball, because it creeps a little toward the front and can throw off the direction of the shot a little bit. That'll give you more consistent direction. Third, try to gather the ball above your right hip instead of toward the middle of your stomach or toward the left hip. That will help keep your whole shooting motion more linear and fluid (especially when mixed with the looser wrist and follow through).
I'm a random guy, but try it out!

I like his demeanor, drive, and discipline. On his catch and shoot jump shot he tends to bring the ball down below his hips every time making it easier for a skilled defensive player to disengage the ball from his hands. He needs a drill similar to NFL football players to try to knock the ball out of his hands. For fast NBA style play, he should practice his catch and shoot like Steph Curry and LeBron. That is, instead of bringing the ball below his waist after the catch, he should bring it above the waist and closer to his body for more stability and release immediately at the catch with a higher arch on the ball in the air. Swish!!! Well done young man.

That's how you do it now..15 in 8th grade...so you get reevaluated and a higher grade. Its like the Dominican's lying about their age so they look more enticing for baseball.

@@Midwestkong that ain’t make no sense bro what i’m saying is some ppl reclassify even 2 grades younger then what they are, cause imagine 13 year olds who haven’t gone through puberty playing 15 year olds who have . it just not that fair and if there good enough they should just play their age instead having a slight advantage playing younger you get?
