Yeah. I couldn't even watch the beginning because I knew what to see & I just couldn't. Had to skip to the end. To see how happy & healthy he's become. For every door closed, a window opens. Guess it's true. For some anyway. So thankful for the rescuers & his forever human.

My gosh he is stunning!!! I love how he put his head thru the lead, like yeah she's here to help.. And that small smile he had on his face when he was sleeping in the back of the truck... And the fact that she rode back there with him.... What a happy handsome beautiful good boy!!
I completely agree with you! This dog is absolutely stunning, and it's clear that he's a happy and well-loved boy.
It's so heartwarming to see the bond between this dog and his owner. The way he put his head through the lead shows a level of trust and affection between them, and the fact that she rode in the back of the truck with him shows just how much she cares for his comfort and happiness.
And that small smile on his face while he was sleeping in the back of the truck - it just goes to show how content and at ease he is with his owner by his side. He truly is a good boy
He's absolutely got husky in him, you can tell by the eyes! in fact, I would go as far as 95% husky, 5% something else, a dingo-like breed.

Yes...so kind. He looked so sad and miserable. You could see how itchy and raw his poor skin was & so scared and hungry. How could someone throw away their loving pet like rubbish??

I'm so glad he was rescued and he found his forever home. I love his smile. People could learn a lot from him he was thrown away like trash and treated like trash by some human and he forgiving humans and loves that's wonderful people can learn from him. Leaving past in the past enjoying the present and soaking in all the love and giving love back
I don’t understand how someone could just discard their dog or any pet. Some people just don’t understand the responsibility of having a pet. I understand that life changes or economically it doesn’t work, but I wish people would re-home or surrender their pets responsibly so they are taken care of properly.
Totally agree we could learn a lot from the natural world. Instead of thinking we are above nature we should know we are apart of it and embrace it with our love

That dog reflected the demeanor, intention, and spirit of his rescuer. What a wonderful lady. Not surprising that he knew he could trust her. His new dad’s lovely and loving nature also lets the dog be himself. In trying times like these, so glad to know these ppl still exist.

I love Sidewalk Specials because-- while they do rescue the abused, mistreated, abandoned and lost-- wherever possible, they educate and support the families in the townships to take better care of their animals. They set up on-site vet clinics once or twice a year where family dogs are given vet care including spaying/neutering. They bring in donated food, medicine and supplies to help the families maintain their dogs' health.
That's so good to hear. I'm going to search for how to donate.

Thank you so much for saving him. I live in a place where a vast majority of people want a dog for style points or social proof, and don't seem willing to adopt a dog. They'll wait years on a waiting list, or sign some ridiculous contract with a dog breeding company, rather than adopt one in need of a home. Truth is, all of them need love, just like humans.
