Sobs are wreaking through my body as every single point, analogy, and reference he makes blows at my heart. I had fallen in love with the counterfeit and compromised so much, only to nearly commit suicide because of how souless and miserable I felt with him. I was trying to fight a battle that wasn't mine to fight, asking God to bless something sent by the enemy to kill and destroy my faith, thinking that I could save him by loving him enough, except I was drowning in the process. I'm crying because despite my rebellion and deliberate disobedience, He heard my cry and saved me from that wreck of a relationship. I had even been randomly chosen for a leadership position in a youth ministry a couple of weeks later. He still had a place for me in His house, He still has a hope and a future for me. I have not lost my promise nor my life to the enemy by His beautiful mercy. Ladies, no matter how good they look, how nice they treat you, all the sweet things that they say, or the potential you might see in them, do NOT settle and do NOT fall for it. If they are not Spirit led and surrendered to Christ, they can only lead you to your death (spiritual and/or physical). Even if they read the bible, pray with you, and go to your church, it is most likely just to please you and be with you, not because they are seeking Him for themselves. It hurts to go, but it hurts so much more to stay. Trust in God's plans for your life, He has way better than you could ever imagine. Trust Him with your heart, He made it. He's the only one that could never fail you, would never lie to you, and will never leave nor forsake you, even when we turn away from Him. I am a living testimony of that. Warning after warning after warning until I finally surrendered. Once you are His, He won't let you go. As I am grieving a 1 1/2 year long relationship, God is slowly but surely restoring my heart and redeeming it to Himself. No matter how lost you feel, you're never too far gone, you are never out of His reach. Just keep praying, keep seeking, keep surrounding yourself with godly community (do NOT isolate), and He will pull you through. The Lord is faithful. He is good ALL the time, not only in the good times. Please keep me in your prayers as I go through the process of healing. God bless you all!
