This is why God had to remove my spirit from the person I was with. He wasn’t ready to move in change & only wanted yes people. I was convicted. I prayed & saw it coming. I’m at peace now. God is doing things that doesn’t make any sense to earthly me, but I am just going with faith & grace. Pastor Jerry always a word.

that hit me too. I love when he said that. The way I see it too and Dr. Dharius Daniels talks about this a lot but some people only like the version of you they were used to, so when you're changing, its not something some people really understand.

its true!!!! I had to made hard decisions and leave certain friendships. One even tried reaching out to me when God told me to let this friendship go, and I'm at peace with it. How others respond is not your responsibility. But our obedience to God is our responsibility.
Its why I don't get offended with people even in the Church because many place their hopes in man and will forget to put their hopes in God first.

AMEN. Unfortunately, there are MANY that fear speaking in tongues. And even more unfortunate people will twist up the scripture/scriptures, change it, and make it mean what they want it to mean. This was a REALLY good and much needed message.

Great word! Praise God for conviction!! I CAN'T go back to who I was, even if I tried! There's only one thing I can't agree with, the Holy Spirit laid me out twice. Both times they threw a blanket over me, but it wasn't for show. The first time I was being delivered during a worship service. The next time I couldn't move until the pastor finished prophesying over me. Jesus loved me back to LIFE, I owe him everything!!
I love this teaching and wish I had it a year ago when I ignored the Holy Spirit about marrying my husband😔 I knew deep down we should of either waited or not followed through with the marriage,but I was impatient. Being 42 I was so ready to get married, I thought he had to me the one. I was sadly very wrong. The last 3 months of marriage has been nothing but trials, turmoil and zero peace.

I understand falling into patterns and having holy spirit conviction. We need more public pastors walking in the 5 fold ministry and actually casting out demons.
Unfortunately some denominations are here for the dramatics and do the extra without the move of holy spirit.

I aint never been to a church where there wasn't a fanatical presentation. It's always felt theatrical to me and one of the reasons I stopped going church and sought God for myself. I know believe that was the Holy Spirit guiding me away from the theatrics

No it is not, that is completely biblically incorrect. Read Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:13. At times believers experienced tongues AND the receiving of the Holy Spirit. However, many received the Holy Spirit WITHOUT tongues. That is FALSE TEACHING that tongues is evidence of the Holy Spirit.

This was so powerful. I just watched this after the finale of the Stress Management series. Be encouraged Kings and Queens. I always feel like I have to be a certain way to walk in my calling but this reminded me God just wants to use my voice no matter what it looks like. I'm loving this series. This sermon especially is hitting hard. Your destiny is tied to what you walk away from and change is loss.
So good. When God called me to a new church home, and told me that I am meant to move forward, he revealed to me how certain relationships were actually holding me back. To a degree, some people don't understand that certain seasons in your life with certain individuals will expire, so you must be discerning and prayerful when seasons end and begin. The help of the Holy Ghost helps us immensely with that.
Ohhhh this is good …. I remember being a teenager a a lady was speaking in tongues she was crying and I asked if she was ok … she got louder and I remember being terrified… I sat in the back of the church from that point on.. For years I spent all of my time in church ONLY praying that didn’t happen to me
I understand now but I don’t also remember that day and that fear

I knew I shouldn’t have watched this message because it was going to reassure me that I’ve been making bad choices. Me and my child father who have been broken up for 8 months now just scheduled to get married May 9th and then I watch this message and now I’m conflicted on how I’m gonna get out of this mess I don’t want to hurt him or let him go. I’m so sad. Not to mention I started back doing drugs again.. I don’t want to let go of my old habits and ways nor do I want to break up with my child’s father again. I’ve been in my waiting season for four years and I’ve just kinda gave up on things getting better so now I find it easier to just be who I used to be and live in my own ways
