Points to note about comparison. 1. Looking at other people's lane makes you stumble on your lane. 2. Compare products not people. 3. It is hard to be content when you are stuck in comparison. 4. Only use metrics to measure volume, not value. 5. People weren't made made for comparison yet we are consumed by it. 6. Stay in your spot/gifting because that is what you win at. Your efficiency, your joy, your blessing and your rest is in your race. When you step out of it, you step out of your grace. 7. Comparison is an act of ignorance. 8. Some of us are so bogged down by the weight of comparison that it trips us up. 9. Comparison always starts as a cavity and leads to coveting. (Exodus 20:17) 10. Sin is an illegitimate response to a legitimate need. (James 4:2-4) 11. Comparison is human but it is not holy and helpful. 12. Comparison keeps you out of rooms you are supposed to go in (Luke 15:25-28) 13. Being emotionally irate leads to isolation. 14. Comparison makes you a slave and not a son. (Luke 15:29) 15. Comparison paralyzes perspective and makes you live below privilege. 16. Comparison always kills compasion. You cannot have compassion for people you are comparing yourself with. 3 ways to kill comparision 1. Constantly celebrate 2. Confidence in your calling. 3. Compare only to Christ. Christ should be our only comparison not to see how far we are but to see how close we are getting.

When God called me out of a career of 12 years, that I stepped into due to comparison, it was so hard. But when I embraced my calling, the oil has continued to flow in ways I never imagined. I left the money, the status, the titles, etc...for a calling and it's been an amazing experience. God's grace, provision, peace, anointing are Here!
Social media is an ego booster and keeps us in a never ending comparison loop. As we should get inspiration and motivation in healthy ways, if we compare our lives (in any form whether it's positive or negative) it will always be never enough. God is our main source and will provide us whatever his plan is 🙏

I’ve been cuffed to cigarettes for years, the first time I quit was with chantix, then got back with an ex and started back smoking bc I was weak and I couldn’t stop on my own. Got Covid then stopped again. Lost everything, homeless being insecure, stressed, started right back. Last week the Holy Spirit said go on a Fast for 3 days. When I tell you i came out of that not smoking or cravings Jesus was my only ASSISTANCE. Cuffed by a bad habit releases by JESUS 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

It’s funny that you use to compare to other pastors that are on “bigger” platforms because many of your sermons have been drawn to me by the Holy Spirit and were exactly what I needed to hear to help God speak to me. And they’re easy to understand as a young black woman…even after hardships. Keep doing what your doing and stay in your lane. It’s a beautiful thing to see. You’re not them and they’re not you and that’s what makes each of us so special… that really resonated with me. I’m happy you helped make that clear for me and others as well

Thank you. I divorced my husband because of his addiction and exclusion from his family. I admit I have a hard time being friendly, kind and compassionate because I carry the hurt every time I look at him and all the things he was not, that I thought he should have been. God has been reminding me how precious he is to him. I don’t have to live with him or share life with him, but I don’t have to be unkind, snarky, or cold to him. I can be compassionate, kind and move on and let all of that go.
God bless you, I can relate. My parents are disappointed in my daughter's father and just tell me to treat him as he has treated me in the past. But I just can't do it. The Holy Spirit encourages me to show him that through me, he can know God's compassion and forgiveness. It's not easy, especially with him having a new partner or him not being present in person, but I aim to show my daughter that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. 🙏GOD BLESS YOU AND I'M PROUD OF YOU SIS!
Honestly, this is the most powerful message I have ever heard in my life. Cuffed to Comparison was a beautiful lesson and message; even at age 37 I'm learning so much about myself and how I compare myself to people when I shouldn't. When Pastor Todd ended with the only comparison and standard one should have is with Jesus. That touched my soul, because Jesus was sent to guide and show us the way. The Bible is the book of life. Pastor Mike is the only pastor as an 18 year old that I can sit down and watch. My attention span is so short and I have so many distractions around me but watching him keeps me on track. I am truly grateful for his presence and how he is helping me get closer to my faith

This sermon was really meant for me, I've been struggling with comparison for the longest time resulting in me getting depressed and isolated and even getting suicidal thoughts. I can relate to everything that Pastor Michael spoke about especially the other brother. I am getting uncuffed in Jesus's name. I really needed this.
I compare myself at my job to my other con workers it has always bothered me for obvious reasons and I feel God telling me to break that pattern - so thank you pastor as a 26 year old divorced man the way you break down the message has helped me and if it wasn’t for forgiveness university I would be dead or in jail - thank you for obeying God and letting him use you so you can reach people like me - I pray that God blessed you with supernatural wisdom so you can be a Good shepperd to your sheep

Thisssssss was absolutely amazing. My mum's been on my back about watching your videos, especially the cuffed season. Like for weeks. And I've been having such a hard time with comparing myself to others for like ever but in the past couple weeks it's been insanely taking over my life. I was laying on the couch and mums like, why don't you watch mike Todd's cuffing season and I'm like finnnneeeee. But I saw cuffed to comparison and BAM, I was like, "that's the one mum" I sat there and everything just hit me in the face. I've deleted Instagram and other socials. That's my first step. It's a massive step for me. Now just to remember and live knowing I'm a daughter if God and he has everything I need. I don't feel I have to chase everything to feel like something. What I have now I can work with and that's my story. This video has helped so much.

After listening to this series, I heard from one of Max Lucado's preaching on Deuteronomy 10:15 that in its Hebrew translation, the love here means hasaq or in other words, binding love. It's like God impressed on me that as we are cuffed to His love, we get uncuffed to comparison, comfort, and convenience. 🌻 “Yet the Lord chose your ancestors as the objects of his love. And he chose you, their descendants, above all nations, as is evident today.” - Deuteronomy 10:15 (NLT)

I wish I knew about Pastor Todd beforehand. I guess the timing I had to hear his sermons was the timing I was able to listen to God. This is when God sees she 's ready to listen to me. I did asked God please tell me wnat I needed to do. The fact I didn't search him up the first time I heard him I was like okayyyyyyyyy. I'm glad that God used him to talk to me, because I needed that. I thought I wasn't worthy that God can love me or forgive me. I know I'm not perfect but, God is here and he does listen. He had to move every distraction to get me. I tried to fight to get those distractions back but God was saying you need this away from you.
I don’t think people understand how important Pastor Mike is to the youth. Introducing them to God and a relationship w him.

I’ve been cuffed to cigarettes for years, the first time I quit was with chantix, then got back with an ex and started back smoking bc I was weak and I couldn’t stop on my own. Got Covid then stopped again. Lost everything, homeless being insecure, stressed, started right back. Last week the Holy Spirit said go on a Fast for 3 days. When I tell you i came out of that not smoking or cravings Jesus was my only ASSISTANCE. Cuffed by a bad habit releases by JESUS 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

This hit so close to home, I thank God for the way he speaks through people! I thank God for the Holy Spirit and his power because by Him I am uncuffed from comparison! This gave me the courage and confidence to move forward in the work God is calling me to do.
Whew.... a brother turned me to this sermon after i was talk about compareing my self to certain other people and the depression it brought me. I had no idea what breakthroughs this was going to bring me far beyond what i was struggling with.

It’s funny that you use to compare to other pastors that are on “bigger” platforms because many of your sermons have been drawn to me by the Holy Spirit and were exactly what I needed to hear to help God speak to me. And they’re easy to understand as a young black woman…even after hardships. Keep doing what your doing and stay in your lane. It’s a beautiful thing to see. You’re not them and they’re not you and that’s what makes each of us so special… that really resonated with me. I’m happy you helped make that clear for me and others as well
God speaks to me the clearest through you Pastor Michael, your messages have given me more breakthrough than your favourite Pastors have in years. So I’m glad you’re not like them. I praise God for your calling, for the way he speaks through you.

Thank you. I divorced my husband because of his addiction and exclusion from his family. I admit I have a hard time being friendly, kind and compassionate because I carry the hurt every time I look at him and all the things he was not, that I thought he should have been. God has been reminding me how precious he is to him. I don’t have to live with him or share life with him, but I don’t have to be unkind, snarky, or cold to him. I can be compassionate, kind and move on and let all of that go.
God bless you, I can relate. My parents are disappointed in my daughter's father and just tell me to treat him as he has treated me in the past. But I just can't do it. The Holy Spirit encourages me to show him that through me, he can know God's compassion and forgiveness. It's not easy, especially with him having a new partner or him not being present in person, but I aim to show my daughter that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. 🙏GOD BLESS YOU AND I'M PROUD OF YOU SIS!
Honestly, this is the most powerful message I have ever heard in my life. Cuffed to Comparison was a beautiful lesson and message; even at age 37 I'm learning so much about myself and how I compare myself to people when I shouldn't. When Pastor Todd ended with the only comparison and standard one should have is with Jesus. That touched my soul, because Jesus was sent to guide and show us the way. The Bible is the book of life. I needed to hear this message. I'm awake at 2:53am listening to and watching this powerful sermon because God brought me here. I'm truly blessed. Thank you Pastor Todd.

Pastor Mike is the only pastor as an 18 year old that I can sit down and watch. My attention span is so short and I have so many distractions around me but watching him keeps me on track. I am truly grateful for his presence and how he is helping me get closer to my faith

This sermon was really meant for me, I've been struggling with comparison for the longest time resulting in me getting depressed and isolated and even getting suicidal thoughts. I can relate to everything that Pastor Michael spoke about especially the other brother. I am getting uncuffed in Jesus's name. I really needed this.
I compare myself at my job to my other con workers it has always bothered me for obvious reasons and I feel God telling me to break that pattern - so thank you pastor as a 26 year old divorced man the way you break down the message has helped me and if it wasn’t for forgiveness university I would be dead or in jail - thank you for obeying God and letting him use you so you can reach people like me - I pray that God blessed you with supernatural wisdom so you can be a Good shepperd to your sheep

Transformation church has changed my life, the way I view this world. I’ve widened my view on Christ and not allowed my fears to start shrinking my knowledge of what I know about him because I’m scared to be fully comfortable in my walk with Christ because of fear and doubt or being open with God, but watching this has allowed me to see the good works of God in my life. Thisssssss was absolutely amazing. My mum's been on my back about watching your videos, especially the cuffed season. Like for weeks. And I've been having such a hard time with comparing myself to others for like ever but in the past couple weeks it's been insanely taking over my life. I was laying on the couch and mums like, why don't you watch mike Todd's cuffing season and I'm like finnnneeeee. But I saw cuffed to comparison and BAM, I was like, "that's the one mum" I sat there and everything just hit me in the face. I've deleted Instagram and other socials. That's my first step. It's a massive step for me. Now just to remember and live knowing I'm a daughter if God and he has everything I need. I don't feel I have to chase everything to feel like something. What I have now I can work with and that's my story. This video has helped so much.

After listening to this series, I heard from one of Max Lucado's preaching on Deuteronomy 10:15 that in its Hebrew translation, the love here means hasaq or in other words, binding love. It's like God impressed on me that as we are cuffed to His love, we get uncuffed to comparison, comfort, and convenience. 🌻

I wish I knew about Pastor Todd beforehand. I guess the timing I had to hear his sermons was the timing I was able to listen to God. This is when God sees she 's ready to listen to me. I did asked God please tell me wnat I needed to do. The fact I didn't search him up the first time I heard him I was like okayyyyyyyyy. I'm glad that God used him to talk to me, because I needed that. I thought I wasn't worthy that God can love me or forgive me. I know I'm not perfect but, God is here and he does listen. He had to move every distraction to get me. I tried to fight to get those distractions back but God was saying you need this away from you.
