I'm very impressed this time around in hearing Kyle singing, reminding me very much of Tom Paxton. It might be worth him pursuing learning a bunch of Paxton's stuff.
Tech opinion: I'm not a fan of those Kyser capos, as they grip so darn tight that they tend to throw everything sharp. Much prefer a Shubb, which allows you to adjust the gripping pressure to just the right amount for the fret on which you're capoing, and thus your tuning stays accurate.
The Kysers I've had don't grip tight enough, and that makes the open notes sound slightly muted. A tight capo is a must for me, even if it means retuning.
@@MojoMusicMedia Oh, you're very welcome, and of course, these things are always "personal preference." And no intent to badmouth Kyser here-- whoever invented it is a whole lot smarter than me!
I have found that setting it back from the fret a bit helps with this problem. I know that's not what we are "supposed" to do but it seems to work anyway.
Gees I'm sorry I must have heard her say martin gave her it custom made I repair my own instruments but making a whole guitar has patent laws music is copyrited so your always stepping on someone's toes loud music hearing loss she is great anyway I stand corrected
