Typical holiday market hotel. It caters for American tastes, hence the darker theme in the room. As for fabulous Las Vegas.....I think the widely held view is that it's a total abomination in the desert....far worse than Dubai that is considered a soulless disgrace in the desert....ha-ha!!!!!!! However, an entertaining report.
Haha glad you enjoyed it! As an ex Dubai resident, I’d have to stick up for it a bit there, very much about finding ‘your’ Dubai however as parts are very tacky. Vegas would like to explore more of…saw some fabulous…but a lot of tack 😅
I stayed here 2 weeks ago, I was in the Pyramid with a view of the sphinx.....but the back end haha. I thought it was a nice hotel, albeit a bit tacky? I think there's worse hotels in Vegas, but there are most definitely better ones. I wouldn't stay again.

I stayed at the Luxor maybe 10 yrs ago, they had the same lines at checkin back then, seems not much has changed. The coolest thing inside that hotel is the slanted elevator in the pyramid lol. It looks way better from the outside. I love Vegas! Enjoying your videos!
Sadly it just doesn't live up to the hype in my opinion and doesn't seem like a relaxing place to stay. The room seemed a decent quality for the price paid (albeit dark and a bit dated as you say) and I'd definitely use the fantastic gym facilities.
Yeah such a shame. In my mind I tend to imagine what could’ve been with this property in aiming at the more luxury end and doing something really amazing with the theming. All the parts are there…maybe one day! For the price paid, can’t complain too much however as the states in general has got so expensive with the dollar strength especially.
Used to sell the US when working for US tour operator and its not been a great hotel for a long while .

Yeah just looking a little tired and would be great to see it executed a little better. Would go higher end in vegas next time for sure…

Stayed at the Luxor in 2022 for a work event (first time got to fly long haul biz) touch underwhelming. The emperor breakfast is well worth it though.
Yeah very much so. Wish I’d had time to try the breakfast! Shame it’s not pitched in many ways towards a higher end market

Dark Room??!! Open the drapes. The Tower rooms windows run floor to ceiling. Inaccurate review.
Tinted windows and canopy over the view outside, but thanks for the suggestion, I hadn’t thought of doing that 🤦♂️
