Cant thank you enough sir. Your videos have been so helpful throughout my fracture and after cast removal. Received many important information and guidance on the subject. You have done a priceless job by sharing your experiences. I am sure every person who is in same condition would benefit a lot

@@brotherhood4694 i am actually very good. My leg is just like before like nothing happened. Recovered quite well. Proper nutritious diet is very important during such time. I also did exercise shown in this channel and it helped a lot. I have taken no medicines other than some vitamins tablets prescribed during cast

@@calcanealspurandfracturere161 thanks for your reply sir. I have no pain and recovered quite well. I only have one thing now that is constant knuckles cracking kind of noise from the injured leg around the feet. Did u also have the same? How long will it stay like that? And whether its something to worry about? Pls share your views on it. Thanks

Great to see you recover so well.
I too have this on my left foot. Doc didn't recommend surgery as mine was an extra-articular calcaneus fracture.
Right now it's been about 20 days in the cast and about 2 weeks from now doc has recommended me to start slight weight bearing and physiotherapy.
Moving around has been an issue, got used to using a walker but stairs are a big problem.
I hope it recovers soon w/o complications.

My accident was the 7th of october 2021 and i received subtalar fusion surgery on the 4th of January 2023 as i had developed arthritis and was in constant pain and now to this date i am still in pain and the surgery was unsuccessful so looking at more surgery in the future. This is a horrible disabling injury and i wish anyone going through this the very best of luck with recovery

      Good evening
      Thanks for your comment
10 weeks in case of such fractures is considered a lesser period and you will gradually improve
Initially you will be advised mild excercise as it takes time in healing
Done exert too much and consult your doctors with latest x rays film to asses the extent of recovery
I have uploaded excercise I was advised hope that helps but do only after consulting your doctors
      Good luck

I'm into seven weeks post injury, I removed cast last week but my ankle and toe are still very stiff. How long does it takes till I achieved full movement of ankle especially dorsiflexion. Have you taken any therapy for ankle stiffness? I saw your previous videos your ankle and toe movement looks normal.

      Greetings and good wishes
It takes four to eight weeks subject to the nature of injury
You must take regular physiotherapy as it helps in healing of muscles as due to cast muscles become stiff
Take cold and hot water therapy it helps a lot

I hope you’re feeling better now , I had a fracture on calcaneus but i declined surgery , my wife had surgery on her wrist and she’s having a hard time moving her fingers. She has stiff joints that’s the reason i decided not to do surgery even though the doctor recommended surgery. I will just let nature do its thing I’ll keep you posted .
