Before all of the dwarves rolled down in the barrels into the water, when Thorin says, "Do what he says!" that really made me smile. Simply because it shows how much Thorin has grown to trust Bilbo. After Bilbo saved him from getting his head chopped off by an orc and Azog the Defiler, Thorin must trust Bilbo a lot more than he did in the beginning, where he thought Bilbo was a burden to them at first.
You know I didn't like the way they portrayed Legolas in the Hobbit. They made act like an asshole through out the Hobbit. Also Legolass hardly spoke to any of the Hobbits for that matter.
In the behind the scenes when they are making for the shore, Thorin notices Bilbo is missing and starts to panick and calls for him. I wish that was in the movie.
can we just take a moment to appreciate the pain kili must have suffered when he jumped into the barrel and the arrow snapped, that would have opened the wound even more and the pain must have been intense! I cringe every time I see it

In the book, Smaug was interested in the "Barrel-rider" title because he could guess that Bilbo and the dwarves had come from, if not passed, through the river to River-town; which gave away the dwarves being helped by River-town.

the dwarves look like the dwarves from snow white. like childrens version of dwarves so cute and then they have to fight against armies of orcs and dragons and others. i feel really pity for them.
2:52 in the original kili gets hit with the arrow but he doesn't grab the lever falling down. It takes him another minute to stand up and open the gate. Really hated that, it was so clearly obvious that they were padding the runtime that it made me scream at the screen. If they wanted to extend this scene and add tension kili could have been shot some distance away from the lever then had to crawl all the way there. Thanks for editing this accordingly, this certain part in the scene always bothered me. Great edit.

The forest and spider scene got done absolutely dirty in the movie. Nowhere near as cool as what was done in the books.
