you dont need to learn how to sew. do what i do and just use velcro straps for everything. velcro strap and heavy duty zip ties solve everything, use the velcro for your quick snap ties if you really love that idea.. I've got a cruiser in orange coming in august, looking forward to modding along with your videos. Thanks in advance, keep the wired content coming, its WICKED !
I just sold my built up Rad Rover, it had two 52volt batterys and would cruise at 30, it was just too hard for me to get on it with all the arthritis I have so I’m looking at the wired cruiser and I like the fact that it’s got a lot of power. If I get the bike, I definitely want to build it up to with a extra battery in parallel.
awesome! Wired cruiser is still pretty heavy. I wonder if some day they will make these bikes easily modular so you can put it into your car part by part, and it still be stable and safe when put back together of course.
Hey you want a small tip….that controller box you have there it’s already in the back of the bike why not just drill 3 holes on the back and 2,3 holes on the top that way when your driving the controller it’s being air cooled from the air being pushed into the bottom holes and out the top
I will def be doing something like this, along with hopefully adding a fan! The shunt mod will be the last mod to make sure everything is cool and reliable.
Just built a 3000w hub bike with two triangle 20ah batteries. You lucked out with your battery placement. And I have problem keeping the front wheel down, but surprisingly my range isn’t all that great, but I get there fast 👍🏽
@@maximumchargeEV The kit came with a 80a controller so that’s probably why the good grunt. Lol. Currently I’m building a custom 29 inch frame with rear shock added for more stability. Kinda scary on a regular bike. Gotta Love these e-bikes!
@@davidanderson6222 thats a great project. Will blend in more with the acoustic bikes so police will be less likely to give you an issue. If you an build something fast, stable, and safe, but looks like a regular bike, props to you!
Please show details of what the inside of the controller box looks like. I'd like to see what the controller looks like and how much extra space (if any) is inside that huge enclosure.
It looks balanced, you can not put on rear rack cause bike will wobble. Let us know how it ride long term. Nowadays, many new ebikes come out with 45-60 AH Eahora, Aniioke, etc. Soon nobody will be doing this anymore or less than now. Great channel! Subscribed!
Thanks! I'm currently trying to find some circuit breakers to use 40a and 60a that are rated for 60v for safety reasons, and as an on/off switch for the batteries, especially since the stock battery doesn't have a switch.
Do you know if I charge these batteries individually while hooked up to the battery combiner? Or should I disconnect the batteries from the combiner while charging them to not stress the combiner?
@@maximumchargeEV leave combiner connected while charging batteries seperately. No need to disconnect anything. Please be careful while riding these powerful ebikes! @@maximumchargeEV it was not Kepler or Wired, it was Ecotric that I put second battery by handle stem trying to balance the weight of load on the bike. I ended up junking Ecotric with bad scrapes on my knees and fingers. Put on knee caps, and full fingered gloves at least, wrist pads and elbow pads even better if you can, but knee caps and helmet and full fingered gloves are the priority for e-bikes. Good luck
Uh oh! I just saw your short video on the Wired and that grinding noise. I just ordered the step-over version so I assume it has the same motor. Is it still doing it? I'm hoping that's just a fluke. I heard it's not a Mafang motor. Now I"m worried.
I'm sure that's a cool project.. But the bike already is the fastest regular electric bicycle available. $2,000 bike. I think I would just buy a CAB Motorworks Eagle or Recon and be done with it. Then you get a suspension and brakes to match. This E Bike modifying craze is making people like "Dogs chasing their tails". But to each their own. 😂

Is there an adapter that would allow me to combine 2 batteries of different voltages in a series? I'd just like to add a 12v to my 60v if I can.
it's possible but I would not recommend it.

Did you contact them yet? Did they agree to send you a new rear wheel with motor attached? Even if they do, that's still a pain to swap out so soon.
They fixed that issue a while ago in the newer models.

This bike needs a torque sensor.
Perhaps!
