What's crazy is that villains tend to have a more sobering truth of reality than those who live their existence completely ignoring it, pretending certain things just aren't what they are.
Heroes are the same way most of the time, they just focus on different things, morals, and ways to solve problems, a good example is batman and joker, they’re both smart, intelligent, and strong, they just use their abilities in different ways.

A good example is birth from the childs perspective; the only fair part is that it was random, another example is a race in a desert, you cannot control who makes it to the finish if nobody interferes, because there are too many random events that could happen, life is chaos, which means we must take the chances we are given
Chance is fair if it is not manipulated, because life itself is a chance
He was right about fairness being an illusion only the master manipulators o this world have the luxury to create for themselves, the illusion is created by weaklings riding the coattails of their predecessors. The illusion is sustained or else the people will realize they are slaves doing all the work for the status quo. The only solution to this is chaos for everyone, which is true fairness and equality.
All of these arguments the villains make are not rational, as they rely on false dichotomies and blind assumptions, and their solutions are not just either. There are criminals who act out of desperation for survival, criminals who are corrupted by power no one should have, and criminals who are mentally ill. The first can be remedied by improving their material conditions. The second can be remedied by denying them power. The third requires compassionate mental health treatment and patience.
Kevin Spacey makes a great villain!

The whole fight scene in Watchmen made no sense to me.... neither of them had powers nor a real plan to beat him, but just actually tried anyway??? He didn't even get hit once nor even looked to struggle at all.... It was almost comical he seemed to be taking them seriously. I thought he would just let them start hitting and him and just say "please stop, you're only going to hurt yourself.... your punches might as well have come from an infant." That would have made this scene a lot less... just.... awkward honestly....

Anyone can outline the world to fitna a scheme . We all know what it is. Talking about it and making matters worse is the villain. Taking action not playing victim is hero
Batman begins is an odd reference for this idea. The arguments being posited by the league of shadows about criminality requires us to ignore that crime is a social construct. The idea that some things should be punished and others should not is decided by drawing arbitrary lines in the sand. The league of shadows does not seem to follow a philosophy that would allow them to absolutely reason about the nature of guilt. It follows that any absolute notion of passing judgement for criminality in the absence of such a philosophy is unjustified. They are not completely right. They are actually fundamentally flawed in their argument. Even in the instance where they do have some notion of an absolute understanding of criminality they would then serve as judge, jury and executioner. A power imbalance that is in itself unjust, in any reasonable modern reading. This would lead them to reason that their actions are then notionally criminal as they have an absolute notion of justice. So they should seek to stop themselves.

In infamous you have a rare few people that have a specific conduit gene that grants powers over elements. Essentially the gene lies dormant unless theres an explosive amount of energy to activate the gene. Specifically energy from living things.
A device was created called the raysphere for that reason to activate the conduits. It left devastating damage and effects when used, but you could activate multiple conduits within a single blast.
The major lasting effect the rayspheres caused was radiation, which spread a plague and now is spreading further across the country and eventually the world.
Thats where the beast comes in. Hes a conduit spreading the plague and destroying cities due to his powers. Hes also the main antagonist of the story and a mindless monster.
But its not till the end of the game do you realise the beast’s true intentions. Hes actually trying to save as many conduits as he can. One of his powers is the power of the raysphere allowing him to activate conduits on a city wide scale but also spreading the plague aswell.
The reason is because conduits are immune to the plague once activated, meaning they survive but regular people dont. So the beast is essentially forced to commit genocide So that some part of humanity lives on. And the beast doesn’t like that, he hates it and suffers through his actions. But he does nothing humanity could be completely gone.
Again i urge you to see the game for yourself to get a better idea. Its a great game and great moral dilemma.
