    For those confused:
    1) Ignore the thread length that’s twisted. It looks like something happened that we missed but it’s irrelevant. It’s just her thread doing that on its own and it doesn’t do anything.
    2) when she says “reverse” the needle, she means move the needle with the eye facing the tail-end pinched between fore and thumb.
    3) take the tail-end side of the thread and wind that around the needle 3 times. The “tail-end” refers to the end of the thread opposite of the needle.
    4) With the spiral‘s windings pinched between fore and thumb, pull the needle point-ward away from the fore-thumb thread. This tightens the thread, securing the knot.
    Hope this helps !!

Not everyone thinks and learns the same. What is blatantly obvious to one person can be totally confusing to another simply on the way it is presented because of the way their mind works. In one of his interviews, Richard Feynman gave a brilliant example of how people think in different ways. He and another scientist each knew they could do something that the other could not comprehend could possibly be done. Each had a brilliant mind, but because of the way each of their minds worked, they could not could not do what the other found simple. This is why we fail so many of our young people. We have a school system that believes because it was easy for them to learn this way, then that way must be the right and ONLY way to learn. So if this video was confusing to you, take comfort in the reason why and that you are not alone. Seek out other examples and maybe one of them will click for you.

@i blocked ads to watch this video Thats all these Reddit queens ever do, regurgitate the same tired joke as the other 10,000 cookie-cutter Redditors, each one more desperate for peer approval than the last. It is utterly pathetic. That site has been a cancer of the internet since it first started, as, poetically enough, a cookie-cutter copy of digg.

Not sure why others were having a problem, your instructions were very clear and well done. I love this knot, so simple and it gives you a good little fat knot so as not to pull through the fabric! Same here! I end up tying a double or triple knot, but it's so hard to do because you can't get the first knot to meet up with the 2nd most of the time. It's hard to explain, but I'm glad I found this video. Hopefully it won't be so difficult to get a big enough knot now.
