    dont forget about the tape on cooler. the fan can get overheated and you must blow it clean from dust. just a reminder. dont forget blowing spin fan on gpu cpu combi. alot of dust inside it and makes it still showing hot when it not should be. from 85+c to about 34+c. im not on Farenhigh. its just that fan has much dust inside it self.

    Thx mate.
    I want to kill ASUS designers, in order to replace thermal paste, you need to disassembly WHOLE laptop.
    By the way 22:00 you don't need to spread thermal paste, just put small drop on each chip, it will spread automatically when you'll put all screws again.

    So, my ASUS really just needs a new keyboard and battery.
    My question is: "does the keyboard pop out as easily as shown, or do you need to disassemble as many components from the back as you did in the beginning?"

    • @chicane90
      @chicane90 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A bit late for the reply, but i disassembled mine today and cleaned it as well.
      i have the N53SN. For changing the keyboard only you literally dont need to dsmantle anything, just pop out the keyboard as shown in this video (there are litte "holes" on the top side), disconnect the cable and for inserting the replacement just connect the cable, and slide the keyboard in bottom first and then put a small amount of pressure along the top side until it snaps in.

      max 8+8, only memory modules must be 16 chips (8 chips on one side).
      I replaced the i3-2330m processor with an i7-2760qm processor (I turned off the turbo boost on the i7 processor and operates at a base frequency of 2.4 GHz) and in the AIDA64 stress-test the maximum temperature is 76*C, in games - 60- 65*C, in the browser - 42 -50*C. Replaced DDR3-1333 (2+4) memory modules with DDR3-1866 (4+4). i7 supports DDR3-1600 / -1866

      @@erensak0 go to the Windows "Power Plan" and find the "processor power from the network and battery" section and set the following power indicators there: max> 99%, min> 0%.
      Power Options:
      Control Panel > Power Options > Change Plan Settings > Change Advanced Power Settings:
      You can buy a cheaper processor - i7-2670qm, i7-2720qm, but its frequency is lower - 2.2 GHz. The i7 processor works with any memory modules: DDR3-1333 / -1600 / -1866. There is no point in installing more than 8-10GB of RAM.

      @@erensak0 what processor do you currently have in your laptop? because the video in the laptop has an Intel 1st generation processor.

      @@erensak0 For this laptop, this is a good processor even without the turbo boost. I also installed an SSD (Samsung 860 EVO 250GB) for Windows and everything works fine. I moved the HDD 500GB to the DVD slot via the Caddy adapter. I use HDD to store files (H drive). You can buy a 120-128GB SSD, for Windows and programs of this size is enough, but I did not find Samsung 120-128GB, I had to buy 250GB)). Divided it into two virtual disks: disk C (75GB) - Windows, games, programs. Disk D (160GB) - videos, files that I often use.
