Man thanks for this gem I just signed with and we on the phone asking like a million questions I was hearing this and that but we just have to make sure we’re handling this business on our end and it will be cool, appreciate the video fam stay safe
I work in factoring and the biggest issue with TAFS is how they file a UCC on you prematurely. This causes a lot of headaches for new carriers. Most factoring companies lock you in for a 1 year contract and if you miss cancelling it by one day, they will roll you into another contract and not let you cancel without a fee for the current contract. Plus the hold times when you actually need help, it takes up to an hour to get someone to answer, and typically you can't get any help... A lot of time you will hear that an offline team handles it, so you can't even talk to the person that CAN help you. There are better solutions out there that care about your business.

Hey, I thought the factoring company it should pay on the spot because they are making a percentage of you, otherwise why’s the people need a factoring. Can you please advise I’m new to this.
@@nathannyembo9799 Find a factoring company that you want to switch too, and they will help you through the process. It can take 3-12 months to get switched. You can also pay termination fees to leave early.
Our previous factoring company that we left to try TAFS is the best. We don't have to worry about the whack stuff TAFS does. Factoring is supposed to go after the brokers for the money. Not wait until due date and send a notice we are getting charged back from it and then keep the loads we just factor the same day. They don't do anything to help carriers. There are way better options.
We are supposed to sigj up with them but reading all reviews now makes me nervous. I am aware of no buy brokers, credit checks and all of that. But some clients are saying that TAFS has been horrible, holding their money etc.
Yo did you look into those fuel hauling companies yet? I got a phone app you can use if you need your hazmat endorsement. Just take the quizzes over and over till you memorize the answers.
Hi. Please let me know or make a video on what you did. We are looking for a lawyer now. TAFS doesn’t cover all invoices / brokers and told us we don’t get paid until TAFS gets paid. But they are holding us to a contract…
You need to check your contract. You have to send them a notice to cancel a minimum of 90 days before the contract renewal date. Otherwise you get locked in for another year. I am dealing with them now. WORST FACTORING COMPANY EVER! Let me know if you need help with them and a better factoring option.@@Nikki_Nicole850
I feel like you will run into problems with any factoring company but I’m with TAFS and I don’t plan on leaving them. I had some ups and downs with them but I feel like that’s normal
@@thelifeofmerckid Fast forward to three months later... They wont even terminate my contract! Never factored with them, I called them on my 87th and 89th day for terminating, they finally responded on the 91st day concerning my termination and they told me I was too late! SMH
It's tafs job to get the money from the broker. They charge us for that. I usually call tafs when a broker hasn't pay, and have them call the broker. I don't do their job for them.

What if the broker doesn’t work there anymore and you try to call them about an invoice not being paid.
