Forgot to mention that faceless channels just got a whole lot easier too! For now, my editors can now generate my voice as a voiceover if we need to insert something quick in an edit and I don't even have to record anything!
This voice cloning tool is so good that I might have to clone my own voice just to compliment it! Imagine me, telling myself how awesome my voice sounds in all my future videos. Infinite self-high-fives! 🚀😂
"Go forth, eat it and prosper" 🖖🏻 Great video, Gal. I've been waiting for this as well. I'm a better writer than a performer, so to be able to write a script for a video, sounds amazing.
The market for these tools is too fragmented though...you need to have a billion subscriptions... That's why I'm waiting for adobe to include everything in the CC
Yes, you can try out new scripts, by editing the script, and type in for example "eh-dit" it will vary per voice. But definitely a lot of more trial and error.
Hi, when I try to get that low DOF with a widish lens as you have I get nowhere near it.. do you have to have an f1.2 for that? Are you using a 24mm? thanks.
I use 35mm RF Lens no zoom. I think my lens goes down to 1.8, but I don't use 1.8, I think I'm at f/2. But remember my background is farther behind me, so you need to also have natural depth behind your subject, if your background is right behind you, it won't happen.
Thanks a lot for your reply. yeah i know I need to create that space for the DOF. What's the distance between you and the back wall? and also between yourself and the camera? Thanks a lot - would never have guessed it was a 35. @@PremiereGal
Ah, unfortunately voice cloning is not available on the free plan, I did recommend they offer some free cloning samples for testing first. We will see 🤷🏼♀️
@@PremiereGal thanks for reply PG…love the idea of inserting/changing voiceover when needed without narrator having to be there for quick fixes. Does make you wonder about compensation issues but that’s a whole other topic!
The free plan does not allow voice cloning - which means I have to pay 240 bucks for a technology I'm not sure works. What can you or @invideo do about this?
Yes, probably bc of the heavy tech and servers required to do make it they cant offer it for free. But if you are just testing, you can write to them and see if you can hear your voice clone first for free before moving forward with a plan. Kind of like when you go to an ice cream shop and you ask for a spoon taster to taste a flavor before you buy.
Yes, remember where I said you can click on "Edit Script" you can try typing it in different ways such as "eh-dit" - every voice is difference so you might try different things
It’s really impressive. I love your vidéos as always. I am looking for the best tool to do text to voice to translate my cooking courses in English. I have a ton of videos with Voice over in French. My team could do the whole thing :) I also wonder where is the technology is in French. Last time I’ve checked it was not there yet. I was considering eleven labs have you tried it for voice only?
@@PremiereGal Recently, they added voice cloning; it took them around 1 year to create, and in the past, you couldn't even edit, replace, or upload your clips in that. That feature took them around 8 months to add to their platform. The main thing is the voice quality is pretty average if they make it like eleven labs that would be huge.
@JoakimBertil whats the difference between API and AI? I've been using Elevenlabs for a while now after a production I was working on used it for TEMP lines.
Using deep fakes on the phone to sign up for a bank account is so real now. Cool video. Love the pink for each word on the titles; did you do each word by cutting each one and pasting the preset or?
To me, it's faster to just record the audio. To have others making videos using my voice feels very pricy, but make sense for bigger mass producing corporations. IF it sounds good though. I tried a few payed "voice converters" but the quality is far from ok. It still sounds terrible.
AI is exciting, interesting and very scary all at the same time. Great for 'fixing' the odd fluffed line in this case or Generative Fill in Photoshop (which has saved me hours of cloning and retouching work). As you've demonstrated so well, eventually there will no need for you to actually speak anymore at all, someone else can type it into an AI bot, which connects to another AI bot, that never has a cold or hangover and sounds better than you do, without any "erm"s and "arrr"s or "mmmmmm"s... Sorry to sound so negative - I've been watching your videos for years now, always informative and always entertaining. Giving 'the sound of you' and how you 'speak' away to a completely remote unknown entity is at the least worrying. When you delete your account will they 'promise' to delete your voice sample, or in few years time when AI is prompted to search for 'North American female with a Washington accent for voiceover discussing video creation, that likes to wear funky hats' will it be someone that sounds just like you? 🙏🏽
Well, I think for Creators and Actors on-screen like myself, people watch to see them and connect. This tech in our field really only be used for quick fixes, VO only, and dubbing. When an account is deleted, your voice is as well, only usuable by you and your team you give permission to, companies like invideo developing this are aware of this.
This has become more common place to help grab attention when viewers scrub the preview in the YT app. Like a hook, helps inform the user what to anticipate and gets them excited for the content to come.

The dangers of cloning audio is far greater than the advantages.
Just the dangers of entering in a credit card info online, there are going to be bad actors in every industry.
@@PremiereGal You're right... but comparing voice cloning to entering credit card info online is laughable.
I tried that voice clone feature. It was TERRIBLE.
What did you think of the voice clone it produced for me in the video?
@@PremiereGal Much better than the one it produced for me.
I'm curious, what language were you speaking and what type of accent do you have? @@GregSereda
This looks very interesting. Thank you for the demo!

There you go!
All I can imagine is a day when every corporate video is narrated by Morgan Freeman or Peter Coyote.
🤣
The internal training videos just casually narrated by Morgan. But all jokes aside, please only use voices you have the right to use!

Makes sense! I know Adobe firefly is cooking up a lot of new tools.
You should put an affiliate link to that mic so you can get paid for promoting it
How can you fix the “ee-dit” voice mistake? Can you upload more voice scripts and single words to train the voice AI better?
Yes, you can try out new scripts, by editing the script, and type in for example "eh-dit" it will vary per voice. But definitely a lot of more trial and error.

Omg, I didn't think of this, but yes there is potential ror ADR use cases. 👍

Hi Gal, its purchase one can you please suggest free AI tool to clone our voice?
As far as I know, there are no free voice cloning tools bc of the technology that needs to be developed on servers which cost money.
Amazing info. I'm going to try to make a short ski resort review doing this in a month or so. Thanks!
Awesome!
What program do you recommend for artificial narration voices when you you don't have a human being to do it? Thanks for any insight.
invideo has artificial narration options also. :)

I don't know if you noticed, but your voice is different when you read the text or when you talk freely about the topic.
Yes, another reason to do different types of styles for cloning.
I have been using this invideo AI for the last 1 year but their upgradation of the product is pretty damn slow tbh
