Burning Brush Pile Sets Entire Field ON FIRE!

  • I started a pile of brush on fire to get rid of it, but the fire got away and spread to the surrounding field. I used my lawnmower to control the fire!

    I honestly have never seen someone fight a fire with a lawn mower.

    Well the wind is blowing. That should given u the mind set I shouldn't be burning. But we all make mistakes and I've dont this my self. I just learned if any wind no burning. Thanks for sharing.

    I always keep a rake on hand, and even before l light the fire, l rake around the pile down to the clay.

    Pretty breezy. I always wait to burn on a no wind day. And the humidity level is higher.

    A leaf blower would have easily controlled that grass fire.

      Sometimes though a leaf blower actually helps the fire by making spot fires
