Can 2 sets of lights be controlled by the same controller?

@JohnDoe-en9ch no but two controllers can be assigned the same theme in the app and be controlled together. I tried to connect more lights end to end on one controller and they act up.

I just got mine today, if I want to add another 6 lights, do I have to buy the whole system or can I just get the string of lights?

You gotta get another system. The reason is, the controller is not powerful enough to send the signal to more lights. I tried to extend my last light 10 feet and it wouldn't even turn on. I cut my extension down to 5 feet and it works... the further out you are from the control box the more degraded the signal is to change the lights and patterns. Thanks for dropping in.

Hey, I wanted to update this. So I did end up buying a second string of lights. I have a set in the front and a set in the back of the house now. I was able to add more than 6 total lights to the back.... so far I have 8 on one string and 4 on another. I guess if you wanted to... you could probably have all 12 on one string and then just keep the extra plug and wifi module as a backup. Hope this helps.

@@JackofAllTrades1 Thank you for the response. I am in the process of adding to my outdoor lights each year. I will check it out.

@healyfamily4 the app seems to indicate it can support up to 48 lights on one string... not sure how accurate that is though. Also, one flaw... if you have a colored light scene set up... you can change the speed of how quickly the lights blink but not the brightness (it is always at 100%). Lmk if you find a way to change that.

They're worthless, I had 4 boxes that went dead over a short time

@sullivanvega5345 shipmate... you are correct lol

@JackofAllTrades1 people buy them cause they're inexpensive. Eventually, the wires go out, switch box or or lights start dimming or flickering

@sullivanvega5345 mine couldn't handle my sprinkler system. They are probably better suited for drier climates... I've been through two sets and would not recommend.

@JackofAllTrades1 I live in a drier climate (florida) and have gone through 4 sets. I never again would recommend anyone ,but the Atomi are good. I'm gonna try the govee (a bit expensive, but hopefully worth it) spotlight.

@sullivanvega5345 where in Florida is dry? Lol. I'm in Sarasota, and it rains every day for 8 months.
