I really like how pruning enhances not only the form but the health/airflow of the trees, especially Japanese maples - plus it’s fun 😊 - I look forward to any pruning videos, there’s not many out there
My Shindeshojo isn't growing in the middle either, so I'm glad it's something normal. It's been 100 this week in California, and it's already October. I hope it doesn't dry up too much. I know I've watered it.
With some of your seedlings, you could try "approach grafting" it's almost a sure way to propagate those certain trees that you absolutely have to have more of like your 'First Flame.' You would just have to set the little rootstock tree on top of the bigger scion tree's soil, take a whip and approach graft to rootstock and just sits there until it's fused...no special concerns about the rootstock being too wet or too much sun...it will just fuse when it's ready. I have done this a few times myself. It just takes a little longer for the graft to be self reliant.
What do you mean by these "root stocks"? Aren't they Japanese Maples too? You could do a video about it for those of us that aren't familiar with the process. Thanks
I will be doing grafting videos next year. Stay tuned my friend. I call seedlings rootstock because I will he using them to graft some of very rare Japanese Maples.

#Maplenutz those mushrooms looks kind cool in the pot.

Thanks Mama Nico, I was searching everywhere for the cause of deformed leaves.
You’re welcome 😊
So much rain this summer, Im getting a little bit over water signs but what can I do, I cannot put all my maples inside
Here is the total opposite. No rain for months now. I’m struggling so bad. A lot of my maples have tapped out already.

Im so sorry. Back then I was starting my youtube channel and I was a beginner. I'm better now with camera movements.
