I got my e92 m3 dct with 173k km for 20k cad. Didn’t need much but same thing I didn’t have maintenance records. Most of the mileage was highway so interior was in great shape. Exterior a little rough with rock chips here and there but no accidents. First thing I did is parked it till I got the rod bearings done
@@DeadEndRestorations yes of course. I’ll probably never sell it. Such an awesome car. Just got some m359 wheels and weighted center caps. Gonna get them refurbed and it’ll look mint 👌
M3 looks huge in your compact garage! Makes the e34 look positively miniscule! Great idea to weld the cats back and avoid monoxide poisoning! A true beast of a car fit for a red blooded beast of a man! If this was too pristine it probably wouldn't venture outside but with it being well used, it's a prime candidate to thoroughly enjoy without feeling guilty. A good purchase. Hey can't wait to see update on the old e34! 😍👍
This looks great, can't wait. I have two e90s at the moment and the one I'm about to sell also has the shade package. I've never used it but I want to take it with me! 🤣
Thanks George, I measured for a 4-post lift probably 100 times. It will fit just barely, but would only work for storage and not leave much room for wrenching unfortunately…
Good car. But what about parts price? They" re not cheap, am i right? Also, in the votes winner was E39, sooo... why the E90 then? Is it deal was that good? Only time wil reveal. Anyway, best of luck to you fixing it) Oh, and by the way, still waiting for the new E34 content( one of my favourites car)
Thanks man, to be honest M3 will need $5-10k in parts minimum to get back up and running in great mechanical condition. I’ve been hunting e46 and e39 but they’re so expensive and rusty especially in Canada, and when this showed up was just too good of a deal to pass up on
You realy are stepping up the game with this one!The 6speed manual is a price, but the rest of it is a very complicated vechicle, which comprises a lot of engineering and plenty of technology. As far as I understand,it runs good ''mecaniclywise'',so my guess is you're on the not so expensive side.Although it is not one of my favourite BMW's,I look forward to seeing more about this project. So,don't forget to enjoy yourself,be well, and best of luck.
Its not my all time favourite either, but price wise for an M3 it couldn’t be beat and its rust free which is a big bonus here where they salt the roads like craaaaaazy. Thanks man!
@@DeadEndRestorations Well,yeah,rust IS a major issue which I often forget,since I live in the southern part of Europe.I can't say it's a bad choice,just a complicated one.Like I said,have fun and we'll talk again.
I'm so excited for this! There are so many restoration channels, but this format of video really is the best out of all of them.
The s65 engine itself is like $10k lol. That’s a steal
Wowww, didn’t see this one coming. Definitely will be following this man! Please keep it completely original (if I may chime in my preference)🙌🏻
I’ll try to keep it as stock as possible my man thanks!!

Nice! Still got the car? How did it run after the bearings?

This video is worthy of 100k views. The swirl marks alone could've only been accomplished with 400 grit sandpaper as a drying towel.

Looking forward to the content… and eventually the track day! She needs a name by the way 😉
Good call, taking suggestions!
Probably the straight pipe is the reason it lasted this long :)))
You know the same thought crossed my mind lol
That’s a big score considering that it’s not blown up
Hopefully i keep it that way 🤞
i see one right now in georgia imma try buy, 2008 sedan 6mt 155k miles rod bearings are done!
i have always said, that frequent oil changes prevents 90% of all mechanical engine issues....
absolutely!
if you can find an E63 M6 cheap - it would be a brilliant car for the content. never been done on YT properly - and rock on buraz, zakon si :)
that would be a cool project! hvala majstore!
cool!
Might want to treat yourself to a two car garage or install a storage lift! Good luck Canadian Cousin!
