She isn't getting hate for sharing a bed. She is getting hate for what she did afterwards. Saying to theo she is still confused (even though she is not because she wanted to go paradise again with junseo) and her not being honest with theo and keeping him as a backup option is the reason for her hate

All these people talk like they can fall in love and be loyal to one person that likes them in reality for 10 days only lol Sian did nothing wrong. She knows how to play the game and everyone is just hating. Also, I’ve never seen her misleading Theo or Jeonsu. She never told those guys she liked them. The only one she really expresss to was Junseo and she started liking him after knowing how comfortable she can be herself in front of him. She started to see him in a different light too and she’s allowed to talk to guys as she wish as long as she’s not misleading them like Jeongsu.
It’s a different culture in Korea though. Intimacy such as holding hands is already like third base to Korean culture. So, if you can imagine why it’s such a big deal to see two ppl in one bed on a dating show LiVE too at that. Honestly, I was quite shock as well even as an American as I’m Asian myself as we care a lot of our image so to be disregarding that you are on Live to the world to see and will never gain back is a big risk she put herself under especially when she’s well known in Korean community and if she wants future advancements with companies she wants to still work for. She’s still young and feels like having fun but trust me, what you do has its consequences. This unfortunately may not be one of the best decision for her even if it was the man who initiated sleeping together/ came onto her. The man wont be as shame upon as the woman will be unfortunately. It is mainly his fault to initiate it, but she did still allow it too, It’s a big risk to take when she doesn’t even know him all that well. She legit only spoke to him twice with real conversations and already allow him to sleep beside her? She s not thinking clearly and keeps allowing rose colored glasses get in the way. She’s still young so she hasn’t gain control of her emotions and to stand firm within herself and to uphold her boundaries against a man. I hope Korea will be kind to be understanding.

And yes I understand what you are saying about the bed part but at the end of the day she didn’t mislead anybody. She didn’t tell Theo herself that she like theo and she doesn’t make it seem like that way when she’s with him that’s why Theo thinks she doesn’t like him and he just kept trying because he likes her. Also, I’m sure Sian knows what she’s doing in front of the camera. She chose to do that herself and she’s 25 she knows the consequences and especially like you said Korean culture is too strict even for celebrities to date so what if she does it differently? Who cares! As long as she’s happy that’s all that matters. She needs experiences to find the right one for her inside or outside of the dating show.
But for me, I would like for Sian to end up with Theo because she doesn’t realize how much love Theo can give her and I would want Junseo to end up with Minseol.
The big difference of season 4 vs the 1st 3 seasons is lot of alcohols are available in paradise and inferno. The producers of the show wanted more openness/looser attitudes between the men & women. I am sure they wanted steamy scenes for higher rating!!

It is true, the bedrooms of Paradise Island is very small compared to previous season, and in first few episodes they at least got extra bed/couch in the bedroom but in recent ep during Sian & Junseo date, their bedroom was small with no space for extra bed nor couch. It felt like a set up.

No matter what, I really like her personality so far. She’s competitive and charming, and she’s doing exactly what she should be doing on the show without coming off as cringe. Whatever happened in the past happened for the best, especially considering how IZ*ONE and fromis_9 struggled and disbanded. I’m looking forward to the next episodes!

Nobody told theo to be loyal to someone based on looks. He NEVER gave any of the other girls a chance. He didn't even try to get to know any of the other girls as a romantic partner since DAY 1. And that's his decision and on him. It's a shame because there are other nice girls on the show too with nobody.

Majority of the time these candidates are there for their own personal gain - build a fan base or use it to advance their career. Korean doesn't have problems with the bed scene. I just saw the video from a Korean TH-camr, and the comments are mostly about how cringe it is. But they don't call her bad names like the international fans. Yet the international fans are always calling out K-Nets toxic while they are the most toxic ones.
K-Nets only mentioned that if Sian and Jun Seo actually liked each other, the scene would've given them butterflies, but it was so awkward because Sian literally said she liked 3 guys while liking Theo the most, but yet she jumped to cuddle with Jun Seo a few minutes after, so it was weird to them.

My fav in the series are Theo, although i feel bad for him, Bae Jiyeon i think she is stunning with a lot of personality and kindness, which we are obviously unable to see, giving her minimal screen time..!!!
I always skipped or fast forwarded every time it was her screen time. I don't know, I'm just not that into watching her. Maybe for me, she is too self-conscious, always fixing her hair and her type of beauty is just too common since she looks like another thousand women out there in Korea. I preferred watching Ji Yeon or Minseol since they have quite uncommon faces and good personalities compared to the other contestants.

Well, I can't skip her when she's in the same scene with others, right? But to be honest, SI 4 is by far the most boring season yet. For me, I felt like I'm not as excited for the next episode as I was for previous seasons. That's all.

The agency should have made her sign that contract extension right then and there when the SIngle Inferno's offer was on the table but they waited for the shooting of the show to start then proceeded to file a breach of contract law suit when they see the success of the show.

The fact that she's attracted to people on different levels is okay. She's not Theo's girlfriend and therefore she's done nothing wrong. Her liking Theo in my view shouldn't stop her from exploring her other connections with people entirely. There's a simple reason why she got so popular with the men on the show.
There's always that one outgoing and flirty girl that gets greedy for attention and options. She usually gets it because introverts can't showcase their personality and charm all at once in the same way. She showed interest in more than one man so they became interested in her. She has now created a competitive situation which men love and has multiple guys chasing her. At this point she doesn't have to do much just sit back and enjoy the attention. I don’t understand how we, as an audience, have the right to throw hate at someone we don’t even know in real life. Guys, wake up! Open your eyes-it’s just a dating show, and everything is scripted. Think about it: which girl would willingly ruin her own reputation on a show that airs worldwide? No one would do that unless the show was scripted.
If this is happening, it means they’re targeting Sian-she’s the content of the show. I don’t understand what people gain by dragging her image down in public. Those of us who watched Produce 48 know what Sian is really like-how kind and funny she is, and how hard she worked for the fame she has today. Why aren’t people thinking from a woman’s perspective? She’s a woman too. Let’s put ourselves in her shoes. Imagine you like someone, and there’s another person who likes you a lot and never gives up on you. Who would you choose? The person who likes you more? No! In an ideal world, we might say we’d choose the person who loves us, but in reality, women always choose the person they like, even if it hurts them. That’s just the truth!
It’s not like I don’t like Theo-he’s actually the only person I like this season. But let them be! This isn’t a real show; everything is scripted. As long as Theo is happy in real life, that’s all that matters to us. They’re here to entertain us, and we’re being entertained. So please, don’t spread hate toward Sian or anyone else. I'm not saying Sian is not at fault but I think the real red flag is Theo because he is liking every hateful, deserves better, e.t.c,e.t.c comments against Sian when she is already getting so much hate, and by doing this he's agreeing with the haters, it shows his true colours. And how can anyone likes someone or be devoted to someone who just met for one day ago he's just fooling the audience to get sympathy and followers after all he's an well trained actor. Honestly, I'm more irritated because I really wanted her and Theo to get together but I'm shocked she's getting so much backlash. yeah it seems like many people who lack dating experience are praising theo for being loyal. but i'm sorry, everything he said and done for si-an just look like a simp, and he was constantly love bombing her because he likes her looks. they never had any decent conversation in their 1 on 1's and all he talks about is how pretty she is.

Why is no one talking about how this season the staffs are giving smaller bedroom, at least in the first few episodes they got extra bed or couch in the bedroom but in recent ep during Sian & Junseo's date, they got small bedroom with no space for extra bed nor couch, honestly it felt like a set up.

Gwanhee actually had decency to share to Hyeseon that he's conflicted between the names of the girls to Hyeseon. Sian is worse than Gwanhee. She shared no one's names to Theo nor to give him where she stood. All the times they were able to talk was bc Theo came up to her too. You don't ever see her coming up to Theo. Whereas she does with the other two men she's more attracted to. Might as well tell him that too that she's not attracted to him, but she doesn't. If any of the guys on this season did what Sian is doing, you think they wouldn't be treating them with the same backlash?? They would.
And it's quite double standard that Sian would be upset at the man she went to Inferno with first, when he shared honestly the names of the girls he's interested in getting to know better. I didnt know she was hated. I enjoyed watching her. The only person that grated my ears was Youngji. Her baby voice & over the top aegyo is just so overdone. Its not charming at all. I think thats the reason none of the guys were interested in her. We only see a few minutes of her and its already annoying, imagine spending days with that over the top attitude. I think she hides behind that type of cartoonish exaggerated expressions because shes not really comfortable being herself. I wish she would just be natural for once. For now, i think her personality repels the men.

Esp in that episode where she got drunk, her behaviour was too over the top because she felt awkward with that long haired guy & she was pretending to not care but it came across as very juvenile & embarassing. I think she has alot of unhealed or unresolved issues. Girls even less pretty than her get more attention than her so im guessing her actual everyday behaviour is not very appealing and she seems to be the least close to the girls. People need to get over the bed scene. No one is tied down to anyone in the show. The premise of the show is to explore relationships in 10 days. It's perfectly normal for her to get swept by more than one guy. At least she was being truthful for being confused, unlike Jeong-su. Theo is a nice guy and will do anything for her but I think Jun-seo is a better fit for her dream of "fiery, passionate and whirlwind" romance.
This season, the contestants went to Paradise too often. It became kinda boring to always see them go tbh. And not sure why they kept eating canned chicken and yams.
If theyre trying to cut back on funds, then they couldve added more to the story and include more interactive games that allow them to get to know each other. The competitive games can wait for when their ready to have them go to Paradise.
How can contestants get to know each other and bond if the show dont put it in the program with at least some getting to know games, not just truth and dare games. If i was a contestant, i wouldnt be able to choose as i dont know anything other than visuals about the person. I need to get to know the person a bit first (real questions) then choose who i wanna give the token to as someone i wanna get to know better.. 😂
The high cost is due to the airplane rides and expensive hotel and VIP meals. They shouldve looked more into building the story and adding depth. This season is a bit lacking in all areas. ThougH they did invite 3 men and did speed dating which was a nice creativity and addition.
Dating shows doesn't have to get raunchy or physical to be a good show. They focused too much on taking them to the hotel to add some spicy opportunities i feel.
Chinese and Japanese dating shows have ran for many seasons and could be used for a source of inspiration for Korean shows as the contestants are quite interactive with each other.
Okay even tho being mad at her how she was handling the suitation we should still understand her and not hate her like nobody deserves to be hate honestly...

its not the bed scene for me since theyre both single adults but its how they were leading people. junseo lead minseol but still chose sian. sian said she likes theo the most so far but gives in to junseo like this. i know its a dating show and they're bound to interact and get to know others to find a match but it became too much of a game. the ones who get all the screentime are not upfront about their feelings and only strategizes their dates. while those with seemingly genuine interactions like jiyeon x taehwan get lesser screen time.
but it's a dating show. we've all seen singles inferno and exploring dating partners is part of it. they know what they were getting into. if i were a contestant, i would talk to all of the potential love interests and get to know them well, before making any decisions.

Isn't odd that the notification of the termination of the contract was done after the filming of the Inferno series which was in June o 2024 and this supposedly breach of contract is only being made public during the final airing of the show january and February 2025. Is their collusion going on to hype up the ratings?

Misholding information is still dishonesty. She already knew who she wanted to be with was Junseo so why not be honest to Theo and share that so he isn't led on? Bc she didn't share it to Theo(many opportunities to too) it is misleading him.
