Hi kenneth, i've been using the infinix gt 20 pro for a while and i think it's better to set the performance mode to balance and turn off smart cooling. I've been getting better fps in most of the games i play with this (ml, pubg, genshin and wuwa). Hope this helps
@@zulfanofaturrozaqsaroni5334 just use external cooler 🗿 with X6pro budget u can get very powerfull phone, alongside good cooler for around 30 bucks, actually if u buy GT20pro for the 8gb ram version u also get a cooler and heatsink casing for free
Thanks for comparing F6 alongside Infinix GT20 Pro! These 2 aren't my 1st choice today as I'm looking for something with longer battery life on normal tasks, but they won't be a bad choice if what I'm looking for sacrifice too much on other features. Also WuWa is a great test as its a terribly optimized game, and will chug the moment there's a whiff of throttling. In comparison, ZZZ would breeze through similar to Genshin from the tests other channels has done.
Thanks for the testing. Really impressed with Infinix thermal management. The reason Poco X6 Pro's outside hotter compared to others because It should take away CPU's heat more than other 2. It has almost same power draw as Infinix but outside is hotter. But if we look at the HSR test it's FPS just drops so much. Even my SD855 Mi 9T Pro has higher FPS then these phones on that area. This has something to do with software. Other than that If real prices are like these just go for F6, It's slim, better processor and better camera also looks best for a phone. By the way X6 Pro's leather case might block up some of the heat. The black or gray version needs to be tested. I guess I will test it myself after buying it haha.
@@SallyBenSalem3448 hello, I bought Poco X6 pro. Overall very satisfied. Like this gaming test it has problems on HSR and wuwa. But it's better than this one. Like I guessed phone doesn't boost cpu speeds on these games so fps is kinda 30 ish but there isn't any stutter which is pretty good experience. Build quality is better than I thought. I don't use case and the back glass is quite adhesive so it sticks to my hand nicely which is must have for me. Screen is really good. Speakers are fine. I don't use cameras much but it gets the job done. Battery life is really good even if I play 1-2 hours a day it still lasts.
@@mertdundar7659Well Im quite wary of x6pro because it seems to gives out more than its price range. Usually when it comes to that, there is come cost cutting in minor parts which can reduce phone's performance in long run. But if we do argue i guess all low budget gaming phones might be same in this aspect.
@@ZoneMaster-ftw hey man For cutting costs I think 2nd and 3rd back cameras are pretty much useless. The frame is plastic. Cpu is mediatek so here are the cuts. For the small parts like PCB, condansators I m not sure. The main and selfie cameras are quite decent imo.
If you're asking about my POCO X3 then yes it's working fine. Just the battery capacity that's wearing off, can only last about 9 hours (used to last 24 hours) with normal daily use.
@@MuhammadNauval i just replaced the battery on mine, and I'm preparing to install android 15 on it, I'll definitely stick with my poco for a while longer :)
For performance, I prefer Infinix but I don't play mobile games. I have Switch and Steamdeck for that. I think I'll get Poco since it has a bigger storage with just a little price difference. We can't use SD cards with both brands after all. I use my phone mostly to READ mangas AND as a music player. With one manga volume is sized at 550MB, 99 volumes of colored One Piece at 25GB, I genuinely believe I pick the right decision.
If you really want to make the most out of your money, go for the F6 since snapdragons are often getting the most mods ( thermal throttling disable, overclock, update graphic drivers etc ) while Mediatek's phone are like iPhones where you can't do anything but with the worst software and you are at mercy of the devs if they gonna optimized it or not I have an F3 and until now I can play insane games with stable FPS( including emulator ) all I did is root it then undervolted GPU, disabled thermal throttling and update graphic drivers the only downside is battery WUWA, Genshin, CarX street, CODM (120fps unlocked) all with the highest graphics possible. Yes I tried Warzone mobile I can get 90 fps inside buildings but it drops to 30 outside but it's not even worth playing because it's like playing 360p resolution game you can barely see the enemy

I'm still thinking about getting the F6 Pro over X6 Pro. After watching this test, personally I'd get the F6 Pro coz it has a maximum of 16gb ram + 1tb of storage vs the X6 Pro that only has 12gb ram + 512gb storage but the only downside is the price would I spend extra $170 for additional 4gb ram & double the storage? yes. I think it's worth it. great review & comparison!
i hope the f6 does not have chipset build issue. My f3 died because of weak soldering on the chip and with its high temp during gaming made it give up. Im looking forward to f6 because of the feature on touch response which I really liked its so responsive and all. Should I go for f6?
Hello there brother. Would you be able to tell me if the Poco F6 ultrawide camera has colours and sharpness comparable and consistent with it's main camera? Would you say skin tones are accurate for both main and selfie? Dynamic range any good? No overblown backgrounds? Blue sky is truly blue? What's your opinion for light gaming and day to day use poco x6 pro or poco f6 my main thing is performance display and batterie what should i buy between them 😅?
Battery should not be your choice because all 3 of these are gaming centric phones. More performance = more battery drain. Also take note these are somewhat budget level gaming phones too afterall a sale cannot incur loss right?
People can think whatever they want about the cell phone, but It's good for the price, the 8s Gen 3 chip is currently one of the best. you could say that it is almost the same as 8 gen 2. Compared to other cell phones with 8 Gen 3, Poco has an advantage. As soon as the chip gets warm, it hardly loses any performance and only drops to 83%. Devices with 8 Gen 3 drop to more than 50% of their performance when the chip heats up. There are advantages and disadvantages but the Poco F6 performs well for the price.
Sadly, there's no local official stores here in the Philippines (atleast in where I live) so I chose the D8200 instead. (Tecno Camon 30 Pro). I dont usually buy in online shops.
Online shops are usually the cheaper options vs. local official stores. I guess thats how they are able to be priced competitively. Also, they can be on sale, making them even cheaper!
I’ll get Infinix, but for a very personal reason that I’m kinda tired of MIUI, gaming wise though it manages temperature better and has bypass charging
I just wanted help from the comment if I order the poco x6 pro will the 67watt charging cube come with the round connectors that enter the socket or will it be the flat ones because in Mexico it’s only flat
@namedkenn hello there and appreciate your reviews on the phones!! Does any of these phones support extended memory on SD cards? Thanks in advance for the answer!!
@@blazzer yeah. Just save up some money and buy a Samsung s24. It costs litterly 450 dollars in Amazon. And you get updates for like 7 to 8 years, Poco phones aren't good for longevity. Not because of motherboard issue blah blah blah but because of the fact it's made of plastic mostly
Did you update the poco x 6 firmware / driver, i read that the heating was caused by unoptimized driver coz of the chipset being really new and the uodate had fixed the issue
i mean the more powerful your chip the more power it needs, its same thing with GPU on PC a 4090 can eat up to 400w, so a powerful phone like gaming phones will always eat battery faster than a regular daily use phone and that is why when we see people who daily drive a gaming phone and never game on it they last whole day without charging it
Nowadays, phone from budget to midrange is all about performance now. Forget about camera, just pick samsung or google or best for day to day photography ios.
Withering waves is definitely a super high graphic demanding game. I use a Samsung s23 fe and that game drains my battery super fast. Also could you maybe add some ps2 emulation to your gaming tests?
Thank you so much! Honestly all of them are priced nicely but again pricing depends on thr regions right, but I'm glad to see the Infinix as a great alternative to the POCOs!

Yeah man it's really sad that they didn't have 512GB, honestly this business decision is probably made to keep a lean stock and a simple SKU, but maybe just maybe, in the future haha
I am not using a cooler fan for any of the phones here, and all of them are naked phones (cause the GT20 Pro got a cooler case that increases thermal capacity)
@@hammadahmad8668When you're playing a game, you won't be seeing the UI at all. Also, I think the UI is better than Poco F6 at first lokk (had a quick test at physical stores).
RAM doesn’t really affect performance, just when you multitask hard you’ll find the bigger one closes apps less often, but honestly I never notice a problem even with 8GB
So what i learnt from this video is if you want an f6 equivalent without the price tske the xiaomi turbo 3 or the realme gt 6 neo. One thing that surprised me is that the 8s gen 3 is supposed to have similar perf to the 8 gen 3,and the dimensity 8200 is not supposed to match it that easily
That's in synthetic benchmark scores right? Because real games workload is different and it differ from game to game even, this is why you see the difference might not be as huge (heck even the 8 Gen 3 itself isn't much better than the Dimensities, you can check my S24 Ultra review) But as good as 8s Gen 3 is, the GPU is still better on both the 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3, just don't wanna shoot themselves in the foot esp. for their flagship chips right haha
@@namedkenn fair enough i guess synthetics are just synthetic but do you reckon this could just be down to lack of optimization on mobile games? Like for example i know in Fortnite mobile the difference between 8 gen 2 and dimensity 8200 is actually larger based on what I've seen of course i could be wrong in just speaking about the one or 2 occurrences ive seen in review videos from a long while back
As long as the seller is good yes it is safe, I’ve been putting their links for almost 5 years now, just a couple downside is long shipping time and you might need to pay import duties but that depends on your country (you can check with seller)
The problem with this test is you played warzone at first. Poco x6 pro isn't optimized for warzone at all and it messed up temps. I play wuthering waves for hours on x6 pro and it never runs this bad. Also if u test moba games u can clearly see x6 pro runs them better than both of these phones.
Honestly speaking, it’s been a while since CoD Warzone was released and I’ve seen a few update patches that mention optimization for Dimensity processors That aside I’m assuming to show sustained gaming performance so it’s better to see how WuWa behaves when the phone is hot, instead of showing (possibly) better performance in the first 10 mins because the phone is still cool Also WuWa is really just bad on any phone even on SD8Gen3 so this result is not unexpected, and finally, moba games run great on all 3 phones here so don’t worry about it haha
Infinix gt20 or poco x6? I heard rumors that while poco is smooth it overheat easily and only last at 2yrs or so... While on the other hand infinix gt20 is optimize? Which one is better for the long run?
It should be similar to how GT20 Pro is performing. They're both under the same parent manufacturing company, uses the same Dimensity 8200 (with the only diff is GT20 has a 2nd chip for better graphic processing).
basically the same performance with the gt20 pro but has a better build (gg5 + aluminum frame + ip54 ), better cameras (50mp quad camera), but worse thermals
between the gt 20 pro and x6 pro, what phone do u think is more durable? and is better at all around. its because i can't afford to buy a phone every now and then and i wanna know which one will last longer with daily use. i would appreciate your thoughts!
Yep I wanna try it of course but it's not available in my country, nor I have a connection with iQOO atm, I'll try to reach out in social media but chances are slim
I've got similar comment to yours as well, a few reasons: - The phone was already hot (40˚C or above) so the chip had to throttle - Sea of flames might be more taxing than other places? Maybe. The other comment actually said that he's getting 45-50fps with MIUI built in fps meter because he was using a cooler fan (and yes I believe it can actually do it) so maybe try game for longer until the phone is hot, and let me know how it goes, the aim for this vid is to test the long term performance
Haha man even with 3 games I already look like a cave man after I finish everything Jokes aside Genshin has similar load to HSR so I was hoping the numbers could give you an idea of what to expect from Genshin
You choose the pre-formatted mode in Rawzon because the frames are set to medium when you choose high-resolution if u choose Custom To show the true power of the phone
I want to put a comparable setting on the 3 phones which is why the preset was used (same with other games too) And since this is not a stress test I think it gives a better idea of what to expect from each phone If I’m reviewing the phone by itself later tho with cooler I’ll actually max it out so stay tuned 😁
I think at around 300 or below price tag these are the only options, other gaming phones are like Sayon said, costs quite a bit more Of course I would be eager to test them if I have the chance tho!
When are you gonna fully test out the Frame Generation Mode of the Infinix GT 20. I've heard that it consumes even less power and generates less heat and of course 120 fps. I think the comparison feels a bit unfair if you don't include it. Cause you know, they didn't include the upgraded 8300 as they had to add that Pixelworks chip in there. Side Note: I'm not being biased or anything. I was just scrolling through their website and they definitely want this feature to be a selling point. Plus I still remember when OnePlus 12 or K60 Ultra did it. The tech seems really cool.
Hey man! I have a few things need to work atm so I think it’ll take some time to really delve deep into MEMS (frame generation) But just to clarify this test does NOT use MEMS and only measure pure performance of the phones I understand that it is a selling point, but a reason why I separated it in both my review and comparison of the Infinix is because otherwise the comparison would be invalid, thus why I’m treating it as an ‘extra feature’ which is nice to have so far in my experience
@@namedkenn Oh,I see. Well that definitely clears things up. And I'll surely be waiting to see how this MEMS tech improves power efficiency and performance in a future video. Keep up the good work.❤️
@@justjuniorjaw Are you sure? Cause, I think I saw a review where they said it had to be turned on. And it definitely was the case for One Plus 12 too. Plus I don't see anything even close to 120 fps so I think it's safe to assume it wasn't turned on by default.
@@mahtabkhansaminfor some games like PUBG, you don't have to enable the frame interpolation for 120fps to work as the gt20 pro already defaults to 120fps. frame interpolation can only be useful if you're suffering from frame instability and it causes input lag.
I think that's news for nobody that the Poco is the hottest but how can you call this video ultimate gaming comparison when you don't have a proper fps comparison for all the games and phones in the end and mostly only focus on battery consumption.
There's gotta be something wrong with your X6 Pro, mine is 512GB Version and at maxed out settings both Star Rail and Wuthering Waves are giving me 45+ fps, however the heating gets horrible unless I'm next to a fan or use a cooler
@@GaryOk-ft5jw I won't even lie, I absolutely love this phone, have had it for a bit over 2 months, I transitioned from a 80k AnTuTu score phone to this and the transition was way too spectacular for me so I'm probably biased but there's no way I'll lie about it, the heating is terrible, especially around the glass on where cameras are located, they LITERALLY BURN which was so concerning that I got a cooler and everything is okay now
Haha man trust me the X6 Pro is a great phone, but I’m curious though how did you get the 45+ fps in WuWa and with what fps meter? Star Rail I think is pretty much in line so that’s not a problem, maybe you get these numbers with fan coolers? Cause WuWa in even Galaxy S24 Ultra is pretty bad as well
@@namedkenn wuthering waves is horribly optimized on mobile, yes I have tried it on Galaxy S24 Ultra too and it still wasn't giving me 60fps, I guess what I meant by 45+ is because of the cooler I was getting about 45-48fps on average with minimal drops (I used the fps counter from the setting in developer options or whatever it is called)

For gaming experience I rather pick infinix GT20pro tbh
Hi kenneth, i've been using the infinix gt 20 pro for a while and i think it's better to set the performance mode to balance and turn off smart cooling. I've been getting better fps in most of the games i play with this (ml, pubg, genshin and wuwa). Hope this helps

Planning to change my poco F3, as always - it's never wrong to go to your review first before considering a purchase!
Hii can you give an update if you bought one of them 😊?
@@ZoneMaster-ftw hey man
For cutting costs I think 2nd and 3rd back cameras are pretty much useless. The frame is plastic. Cpu is mediatek so here are the cuts. For the small parts like PCB, condansators I m not sure.
The main and selfie cameras are quite decent imo.
Thanks Kenneth for making this video! Right where I plan to get a new phone to replace my old Poco X3 NFC

Im using Poco F6 Pro for 2 months and i love it especially the metal frame and back glass which are so nice when i hold the phone.. I dont use case.
Hey man, can you try the Poco Pad? How good is it with those games?
hi kenneth, for gamers who value longer game time and performance what do you suggest?
If you really want to make the most out of your money, go for the F6 since snapdragons are often getting the most mods ( thermal throttling disable, overclock, update graphic drivers etc ) while Mediatek's phone are like iPhones where you can't do anything but with the worst software and you are at mercy of the devs if they gonna optimized it or not
I have an F3 and until now I can play insane games with stable FPS( including emulator ) all I did is root it then undervolted GPU, disabled thermal throttling and update graphic drivers the only downside is battery
WUWA, Genshin, CarX street, CODM (120fps unlocked) all with the highest graphics possible. Yes I tried Warzone mobile I can get 90 fps inside buildings but it drops to 30 outside but it's not even worth playing because it's like playing 360p resolution game you can barely see the enemy

I'm still thinking about getting the F6 Pro over X6 Pro.
After watching this test, personally I'd get the F6 Pro coz it has a maximum of 16gb ram + 1tb of storage vs the X6 Pro that only has 12gb ram + 512gb storage but the only downside is the price
would I spend extra $170 for additional 4gb ram & double the storage? yes. I think it's worth it.

i hope the f6 does not have chipset build issue. My f3 died because of weak soldering on the chip and with its high temp during gaming made it give up. Im looking forward to f6 because of the feature on touch response which I really liked its so responsive and all. Should I go for f6?

Yep completely agree!

One thing that surprised me is that the 8s gen 3 is supposed to have similar perf to the 8 gen 3,and the dimensity 8200 is not supposed to match it that easily
That's in synthetic benchmark scores right? Because real games workload is different and it differ from game to game even, this is why you see the difference might not be as huge (heck even the 8 Gen 3 itself isn't much better than the Dimensities, you can check my S24 Ultra review)
But as good as 8s Gen 3 is, the GPU is still better on both the 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3, just don't wanna shoot themselves in the foot esp. for their flagship chips right haha
@@namedkenn fair enough i guess synthetics are just synthetic but do you reckon this could just be down to lack of optimization on mobile games? I never used Aliexpress before and I'm just wondering is it safe or not?
As long as the seller is good yes it is safe, I’ve been putting their links for almost 5 years now, just a couple downside is long shipping time and you might need to pay import duties but that depends on your country (you can check with seller)
The problem with this test is you played warzone at first. Poco x6 pro isn't optimized for warzone at all and it messed up temps. I play wuthering waves for hours on x6 pro and it never runs this bad. Also if u test moba games u can clearly see x6 pro runs them better than both of these phones.
Honestly speaking, it’s been a while since CoD Warzone was released and I’ve seen a few update patches that mention optimization for Dimensity processors
That aside I’m assuming to show sustained gaming performance so it’s better to see how WuWa behaves when the phone is hot, instead of showing (possibly) better performance in the first 10 mins because the phone is still cool
Also WuWa is really just bad on any phone even on SD8Gen3 so this result is not unexpected, and finally, moba games run great on all 3 phones here so don’t worry about it haha

It is used when gaming, so it's being used during Kenneth's test.
Hey man! I have a few things need to work atm so I think it’ll take some time to really delve deep into MEMS (frame generation)
But just to clarify this test does NOT use MEMS and only measure pure performance of the phones
I understand that it is a selling point, but a reason why I separated it in both my review and comparison of the Infinix is because otherwise the comparison would be invalid, thus why I’m treating it as an ‘extra feature’ which is nice to have so far in my experience

There's gotta be something wrong with your X6 Pro, mine is 512GB Version and at maxed out settings both Star Rail and Wuthering Waves are giving me 45+ fps, however the heating gets horrible unless I'm next to a fan or use a cooler
@@lukachkuaseli1407 I want to buy x6pro. is it heat too much? 🥺😔
@@lukachkuaseli1407 okay thanks for the details now we see why! I would actually love to make a video with cooler fans, so the chip can run the games without care about thermals, but this is a good sneak peek haha
Next Time Test all these devices with cooler
Yeah I’m planning to actually follow up with that 😁
