Why would someone put their child in danger when we have published so many videos warning about this situation that is getting more out of control? Every summer, we know that accidents will increase at Haulover due to the irresponsibility of captains and parents. How can Boat Zone contribute to stopping this type of behavior?
I agree, parents and people should never put a child's life at risk. I also think if it is on your bucket list, at 64, you have to give it a go on your own in the smallest boat you can get on one of the "no small boat warning" days. Life jacket will be worn with an oxygen canister just in case. Scuba gear if you know what I mean.
@@conservativerealist I would agree on some of the adults we see on here, however the children are not been given the choice nor have they developed the intellect to recognize the danger. The parents must pay a huge monetary price before the pay the ultimate price of loosing a child.
Is it not possible for the responsible authority or a combination of, to agree and enforce a compulsory lifejackets wearing zone? Say 1/2 mile from the inlet in each direction. Camera enforcement is easy nowadays.
Cobia Boats made it's start back in 1959 in Orlando. I had a 17' Cobia back in 1971 with a 55hp Homelite 4 cycle outboard on it (1st 4 cycle outboard ever made).
so many of these skippers lucky modern outbds have electronic rpm cutoff, or there would be a lot of blown, over revved engines when come out the water
That littering, done so casually, ... such terrible behaviour. If I was the guy and saw her do that, I'd considered throwing het in after it. Of course I wouldn't, but it would be the end of this day trip.
I'm startled to see very small children (and in very small boats), with no PFDs. Even in large boats, children should be wearing a PFD at all times when the boat is underway.
They are called "fenders" or sometimes erroneously called "bumpers" (which are attached to the docks). Both are used to keep boat hulls from banging up against docks etc. Most experienced "skippers" pull the fenders on board and secure them when underway.
I think it's a style trend mostly seen in Europe. In boating history, the "inverted" bow was used on many types of ships. It has some advantages, mainly related to speed, but in rough sees they under-perform (just my opinion).
First there is no excuse for littering ever. Secound it is the captains responsibility for every thing there ship or boat more need to learn that but its never enforced. SAD
I agree. It takes extra time, but what's the point of buying a beautiful boat with a nice design if you leave the fenders outside and make it look ugly?
Boating laws must be a joke in Florida, I seen this videos with babies, kids, pets, with no lifejackets or any other safety precautions taken, not the mention the all the plastic and litter that falls overboard from these boats.
In Florida state waters the law says kids under 6 must wear a pfd. In Florida federal waters (starts 3 miles offshore) kids under 13 must wear a pfd or be below decks.
Trashy people do trashy things, such as the girl in the boat that threw the red solo cup out into the water. A trashy move from a trashy girl and I hope she reads this.
I don't understand how there can be so many irresponsible captains who allow passengers to sit up front while traversing such extremely rough waters. We've seen how passengers have been tossed off a boat in the past. It can happen any time to anyone. Criminal negligence at the very least. And possibly even attempted murder.
The problem is not the boat, it's who is driving it. I owned a 190 Yamaha and gave it the proper use, and had many happy moments with family and friends
Through Haulover inlet, you can navigate a few miles offshore to reach the southernmost point of Miami or head north towards Fort Lauderdale. It's also a great spot for fishing or to be featured in Boat Zone's TH-cam videos ;)

Why would someone buy an expensive boat that is totally worthless is heavy seas, worst design every

I agree with you. I will continue to expose all the passengers and captains with this behavior
And she wouldn't be allowed on my boat again . Actions have consequences .
Lets all ignore the Mobro 4000 😂😂😂
What an idiot. Thanks for adding even more plastic to the ocean. Pig
It's so endearing to see so many financially secure grandfathers taking their granddaughters and their friends out for a wholesome day on the water!!!
Always enjoy your shows. Lets me dream.
Sea ray sea 🌊 stuffer!

Love the floppy things on the side of the boats, dont know what they are for but looks great 🙂
For docking the boat. Prevents the hull from being damaged.
@@vinceabrassart8686 Ohh really 🙂 looks like a real sailor leaving them outside when on the move 😂😂

Can penalties and fines be issued based on this video footage? "Glacier Bay" TX 1140 EM trashing the bay. 7':38" how come people do this?
did you know water and dipsticks do not match.
That fountain came apart at the bumper seem
Regal boat company is family owned and was founded in 1969 not 1989.
Now this doesn't seem like fun to me
👍👍
Are those boats with the downward bows designed for oceans?
NO!!!

All those people on that Pardoand nobody can tend to the fenders? Rookies.

Bunch of amateurs leaving their fenders out

even more money and way less brains. crazy man crazy..

Here in Florida we believe in LESS government. Over 1,000 people a day continue to move here.
Lol, you need laws to gov you😂😂😂😂😂
@@rski1036 NO excuse for littering. People who can't respect the environment or others are exactly those who need rules. Pathetic children.
Life jackets should be mandatory imo 😊

Big expensive boats with their fenders hanging out - credit card captains without a clue!
I wish for these folks sake that money was the same as wisdom. 3:10
I could have ended up much worse, considering the conditions of the sea and the position they were sitting in.
@@BoatZone I’m glad everyone seems ok. Boating takes a fair amount of responsibility and respect for death.
A lot of folks will have sore kidneys from being slammed.
At least everybody is wearing a lifevest
Why you not film any large Spt Fish boats ??

Why do people buy those stupid yamaha jet boats
The problem is not the boat, it's who is driving it. I owned a 190 Yamaha and gave it the proper use, and had many happy moments with family and friends
@@BoatZone it's a lake boat yet florida have the highest sales
Its affordable
It’s not meant for the ocean, its meant for lake boating. People are stupid
Some people just have no brains nor common sense...to put kids in danger like that is criminal and they should be locked up!
no life jackets on the kids , really do not understand the dreadful power of the sea to take you most precious things from you
Why do they not wear life jackets?
because its not required by law.
Because they are thick
Secretly want to end it all.
hardly gonna take responsibility for marine life since they have no life jacket on i assume they cant even take responsibility for their own lives
Are all these boats heading for an area with calm water? If not what's the point?

Blows me away how parents do not put life persevering jackets on there spawns!
Boat designers are clueless on bow design.
