4:25 " a little bit of gas" you mean unleashing the beast..... Good lord first time I watched this vid I thought the engine would come out of the bonnet.... Eleanor is my all time dream car.... Unfortunately it will always be a dream.....dont have the money for her..... Thanks Jeff for that Vid!
Found this video in my old TH-cam playlists.. Watching it now and look through the window at my own Ford Mustang, which I purchased a couple of weeks ago 😊
This car is the embodiement of american craftsmanship, from when i was a young boy i always loved american muscle cars because they depict power, style and a signature look that no country on this globe could ever comprehend pardon me for my grammatical mistakes i am a dutch dude...
Hey Guys, Jeff Here. This is one incredible Car! Does it all! I finally got a chance to get it out on the freeway after this video - Holy cow is this thing COOL!
i loooooooveee this ride!! as well as Bugatti, i know, they are totally different, but they are both my dream ride!!! the engine sound's so gorgeous so i cant hear the guy's voice!! this is sooo beautiful and classic!
If no one else already answered privately, it appears to be a nitrous oxide tank. NO^2 can be added to an engine to increase power by allowing more fuel to be burned. Think of it as steroids for an automobile. It is illegal in NASCAR, but some dragsters and street racers use it to improve performance.
wow what sound.. my dad got a 1968 GTO and it doesn't sound the same as this beast... this is insane, wow. my dad's not completely done with it tho.. he had it nearly 5 years now. he redid everything but still doesn't add up to the sound of that. 5/5 very nice sound.
A great king of muscle cars, the GT500, I would like to know how much it would cost to ship this vehicle to Europe, and curious to know what modifications are to be made, mechanically speaking that is, so as to be approved over here?
GT500 means the car has a 428 Police interceptor engine. The "E" was added on The GT500 to stand for Eleanor. The GT500 is a real shelby. The GT500E is just a car built for the movie Gone in 60 seconds. The GT500E is just a 67 fastback mustang with a body kit on it.
How come this car isnt listed under your site. I want to know how much one of these would go for exactly as you have it in the video except with a 429.
What exhaust is that? I've been searching and searching, and no exhaust combination that I've come across will give you such a note across the band. I mean, you were at a light and just 'barking' the thing and it sounded like a bear underneath the hood.
Eleanor was the car in 2000's Gone in 60 Seconds with Nicholas Cage. They named all the cars in the movie with nicknames and the 1967 GT 500 was called Eleanor. In the original G.I.60 seconds, Eleanor was a yellow 1973 Mustang Mach 1. The car chase is the only reason to watch that movie
Great car man! Yall get some great looking cars! For a little bit of trivia Gone in 60 Seconds was a remake of a 1974 movie. That movie featured a 45 minute car chase with 1971 Fastback Mustang.
i've always wondered if that GT500 was a different front end then the origanal gt500's ya know aftermarket but ive seen some stock with similar front ends
@zo0yoRk69 It is a 428, most 428 are from the FE plant, 427 is just a stroked out 351.Most Eleanors have the 428 in them, youll never make the windsor motor sound like a 428
sorry to ask but what kind of suspension did you install? double wishbones? is it independent at the rear or did you stick with a live axle? and what final drive ratio did you use?
I cannot find it on your site at all, but thank you for the price thats what i was looking for. Do you know how much one will go for if i wanted a 429 instead?
was gonna ask how much that would cost and then seen the comment below, I would love an Eleanor mustang... but live in Ireland so how much would that cost...
wow u kno i knew the 05 mustangs were suppose 2 be kind of modern day versions of the classics but... i dont kno alot about the classic mustangs n watching this vid. i didnt no the interior was similar too! check that out. wat a great car
i wanna get one of these from the U.S! A car like that over in the UK! Woooh! I think i'd run the local petrol station dry! These things must be pushing 6-8mpg max!
@zo0yoRk69 actually.....it IS a 428 CID FE big block. Had they put a reproduction 427 dual-quad side oiler like the original 1967 GT-500 Super Snake had in it...it would have increased the price of the car by another $50-$60K.
I think the standard Eleanor puts out 450hp, and the Super Snake puts out 750. But the official licensed ones I BELIEVE have a 418 in them. I know in this video he says a 428, but it could be from another company. There's a youtube video called, "The One and Only Licensed Eleanor." where the guy talks about it. As for me, I don't care. I much rather have a 428 then a bored out 351. And I want to know what type of exhaust that is.
Been watching this video on and off 5 years, never gets old
4:25 " a little bit of gas" you mean unleashing the beast..... Good lord first time I watched this vid I thought the engine would come out of the bonnet.... Eleanor is my all time dream car.... Unfortunately it will always be a dream.....dont have the money for her..... Thanks Jeff for that Vid!
Thanks, it was one of the first videos I ever did...
Indeed my dreamcar allso, if i could drive one in USA ill sign up for it

I love how when at idle, the pitch is so low, that the camera can't pick it up audibly.. That's badass. I LOVE this car.
Hey Guys, Jeff Here. This is one incredible Car! Does it all! I finally got a chance to get it out on the freeway after this video - Holy cow is this thing COOL!
I'm a Ford guy and this car makes me cry tears of joy.
i loooooooveee this ride!! as well as Bugatti, i know, they are totally different, but they are both my dream ride!!!
the engine sound's so gorgeous so i cant hear the guy's voice!! this is sooo beautiful and classic!
Yes, it was my first drive in the car and I went only about 3 quarters throttle. This was a kick ass Mustang!
You still got this this beauty??
@@lucasjabrandt5762 Sold long ago...

Everytime I Drive by Flemings Ultimate Garage I cant help but stare at all the amazing Cars they have there.

When it stalls do you whisper to her?
Mannn!!!
What type of feeling came over you when you were driving that beauty at 4:23 to 4:30 minute mark, man!?!?
Thanks. Sure we get 71's. We currently have a 69, 70, and 72 Mach 1'S in stock. Good luck with yours!

I didnt even realize but my toung was hangin out o my mouth like a dog in heat through the whole video! LOVE that car!
Maybe, but this is what it was in the movie. We've never had a car get as much love as this incredible beast.
Sold long ago!
A great king of muscle cars, the GT500, I would like to know how much it would cost to ship this vehicle to Europe, and curious to know what modifications are to be made, mechanically speaking that is, so as to be approved over here?
the juice cans (nos) are in the trunk not in place of the rear seats
I could cry... it's my only wish to drive an eleanor too...
wow you spent half the video just at the lights. but i still love it
peak hour traffic... gotta love it. prety long signal light.
@SuperChrisTV
Yes, but we have another being finished now. This one sold for $92,500.00
Nice car Jeff...perhaps you could have picked a looonger red light to sit at lol...although the idle was great too.
quick question. he said 428 police interceptor. is that the same as 428 cobra jet? not so sure on that matter, im kind of a windsor guy myself ;)

BEAUTIFUL!! BEAUTIFUL!! BEAUTIFUL!! BEAUTIFUL!! i love Eleanor.

You don't need stereo with this car. The sound it makes is better than any song in the world.
What exhaust is that? I've been searching and searching, and no exhaust combination that I've come across will give you such a note across the band. I mean, you were at a light and just 'barking' the thing and it sounded like a bear underneath the hood.

By far the nicest one I have ever seen!
What an engine sound! Awesome!
We do look for whole payment but may have a lender that can help you!
thnx for getting back so fast....How much do you reckon it would be for customs and all??
Great car man! Yall get some great looking cars! For a little bit of trivia Gone in 60 Seconds was a remake of a 1974 movie. That movie featured a 45 minute car chase with 1971 Fastback Mustang.

1967 Shelby GT 500 Eleano is one of the best super sport cars in the world i really like it.
Speaking in Australian accent: "Watch as the Eleanor stalks in prey pulling up behind the Honda Civic at 1:08"........lol
my favorite car of all time.....this is in my number one spot
wow u kno i knew the 05 mustangs were suppose 2 be kind of modern day versions of the classics but... i dont kno alot about the classic mustangs n watching this vid. i didnt no the interior was similar too! check that out. wat a great car

@zo0yoRk69 actually.....it IS a 428 CID FE big block. Had they put a reproduction 427 dual-quad side oiler like the original 1967 GT-500 Super Snake had in it...it would have increased the price of the car by another $50-$60K.
The only american car i would proudly own... Hat's of to any one who does. this car is pure art
Doesn't anyone have a back road to get on to???
I think the standard Eleanor puts out 450hp, and the Super Snake puts out 750. But the official licensed ones I BELIEVE have a 418 in them. I know in this video he says a 428, but it could be from another company. There's a youtube video called, "The One and Only Licensed Eleanor." where the guy talks about it.

Jeff
I was wondering how much fuel does it consume per 100 km or 60 miles?
13-15 miles per gallon of petrol
woww, that's a lot. this beast has a nasty appetite
Could be much worse
+mrroozbehm1985 Smiles per gallon....
+mrroozbehm1985 It consumes about 13-15 Freedoms Per 'Murica of gasoline.
where are yall at ?
How can you sell such a thing??

These are the best cars from 60's and 70's.
