- Heyyyyy super random, but this is a really useful tip for most eyeliners, lipliners, eyebrow pencils (especially the weirdly shaped ones) that a lot of you might not know! So I wanted to share 🙃 Just a quickie, but I hope it's useful! 🙌🏼❤️

I work at a makeup counter and this is how we “sharpen” and clean all of our tester products so that they look as fresh as possible! Works great for lipsticks that have lost their shape as well- just take a paper towel on a flat surface and essentially swatch the lipstick a few times. Voilà! A nice sharp bullet!

I always used my pencil-sharpening scalpels or squeezed them back into shape with a paper towel but this seems less messy/wasteful so thank you!
I'm going to try squeezing pencils into shape next time.
@@cherrybearylemondrop other random tip: put sharpen-able pencils in the freezer for 15 mins and then you can sharpen to a very fine point without it breaking off and gumming up your sharpener.
I’m learning how to sharpen so many products, lol! Just yesterday I learned that NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils can in fact be sharpened, despite appearing like they’re encased in plastic! Who knew!

I literally just started doing the exact same thing because I had great pencils that were all rounded & being totally wasted because I couldn't use them! Now I waste a tiny bit to make them sharp however they're usable not being wasted! Best money saving brow pencil hack EVER 🤩

I wear contacts and have extremely watery eyes, any recommendations on the best waterproof eyeliner that I can tightline with and it not budge all day? Every one I have tried so far makes my contacts hazy and it is gone halfway through the day bc my usually my left eye will continuously water all day long during allergy season which is apparently 365 days now where I live!!! hey pretty lady yes :) i sharpen my brow pencil by using cardstock paper and at an angle sharpen the edge up :)
This is exactly what I needed. I feel like I knew to do this. I just needed like… permission to? That sounds dumb. But I was nervous about wasting!
I don’t do my brows often. I’ve tried a few with the extended triangular tips. I disliked them but I’ve still got one or 3 rattling around.

I’ve got a few liners encased in plastic & they don’t swivel up. I’ve given up trying to sharpen them with a sharpener…🤷🏼♀️ In the trash they went.
I've heard that it helps to put the plastic ones (like nyx jumbo eye Pencils) in the freezer for a bit before sharpening.
You need a better sharpener! I look for ones made in Germany, bc they are known for making quality razor blades. I’ve found decent ones from $6-$11
So I bought the Tom Ford Brow liner thingy (that is the best way I can describe it!!).. and to be honest .. I HATE IT .. because it was so so f**king expensive and I had the same problem .. so note to self (and others!) if I (you) can afford to waste this much product on a tissue to get it to work .. do NOT FRICKIN BUY IT!!! seriously there are waaaay more affordable products out there that can do the job that you want it do depending on your brow-type and how you like your own brows to look!!

Interesting enough I knew this for years because I don’t remember who did this bold triangle shaped eyebrow pencil first but it was a brand you looked for brow products, probably ABH, showed that trick in actual product introduction video. And I remember thinking it was a bad idea to show this because it was a turn off and I wouldn’t buy it lol

Also, random but I feel like my eyesight has gotten so much worse. It’s kind of like Alexandra’s camera struggling to focus when things are close-up, but it’s fine when she’s far. What’s wrong with my eyes?? 😭😭😭
