I love how much everyone enjoys new food, they're not afraid to try out new things. But, in the end, they all go back to their favorite dish because, to them, it is the best. Wouldn't you only eat your favorite dish if you could only ever eat it once every week?
as a chef for some place like this, i'd always invent or get my customers to try something new after they have their dish. a way for them to experience more of my world while also keeping customers happy.
I've always thought that he did inherit a bit of his grandmother's potential. Because it's kinda insane he's able to physically keep up the Saturday Service on his own on top of his regular hours, without exhausting himself, when he has halflings and other big eaters as regulars. He seemed to have actually been doing just fine before Aletta and Kuro came in. But since he lived in a peaceful world + Yomi not wanting to pass on her battle skills any potential he had was never cultivated, so he never passed as anything really exceptional. I do think he has some latent magic potential, since Yomi's half-elf comrade did comment on it, though he's said to be real weak in comparison to his grandmother. If he had grown up in the otherworld, the master could have probably ended up a swordsman like that Teriyaki Chicken.

@@lupvirga To honest I do the same thing when going to a restaurant that I don't normally get go to.
@@lupvirgafrom what I can tell, that's also what this chef does as well.
Sounds like you're a Great chef!
It is great to see how this anime educates viewers about how one taste can complement another.
It's nice how they're trying to improve their world's culinary skills, otherwise it would make these visits to the restaurant a guilty pleasure.
How is he able to run the restaurant on Saturday night this short on staff?

he only employs gordon ramsay
@@hellfireunicorn351 It also might help to know that the Master isn't entirely human himself; he's actually 1/8th Ogre.
