yup i feel these were always supposed to be leather. metallic 5's and infrared 6's in leather makes me think 50/50 but the 4's for sure should've been leather idk why i get that feeling

Is anybody mentioning the alternate sports that black leather with the blue is there literally the same shoe I just wanna know is the leather is good as the AlterNet motorsport fours cause I love those shoes I got two pairs of them actually had three pairs but I sold one

Everyone is forgetting the most important detail on the sb 4s that makes them more roomy in the toes . The sb 4 has the encapsulated air unit in the forefoot removed . That’s why more room in the toes and it was done for skaters to feel the floor better for skating . Hope you read this comment @foamersimpson and buckets .

Is that air unit still in the bred reimagined?
@@devisiveone yes the air unit is in the breds reimagined . It’s in every jordan 4. They only took it out of the sb 4s for skating purposes so that the skater is able to feel the floor better for board control .
A perfect pair to rock and clean easy and to preserve my 2019s. Couldnt ask for more. Stoked for this drop 🙌
The OG Bred 4 is one of my favorite shoes of all time and I didn't think they could be improved upon. That was before I saw these, and IMO these are amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Just got my pair in hand today. Amazing 10/10. Shape, materials, and comfort are a huge step up for the Jordan 4.
Sold my 2019 breds recently, so the reimagined are a must for me. The shape is just so much nicer on these, so glad they are making the SB shape the standard now. I love how the toe box and tongue are closer to the OG than the 2019. The leather looks great in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I prefer nubuck, but leather looks great on this classic silhouette.
I went and got another pair of 19s my pair showing their age and they look so much better then these shiny things

Love these because they remind me a lot of the Rare Air 4 Black Lasers and those look so clean all leather it’s like a nice compromise for me wanting black cements and loving the lasers
Hey Mr. Foamer. Been watching for about a year now and love your reviews and no nonsense comments from Buckets. I love my 4's but man....I just don't know about these with the all leather build. They look like big dress shoes to me in a sense. I do like the SB additions here and there but I may need to see these on feet if I can before I buy. Cheers!

Imma be honest; these are way more comfortable than the 2019 pair. Love the leather on my black cement 3‘s, so it’s a huge upgrade to me🔥

if you know, not only that it makes it more comfortable to wear because the material but it won't crease as much they'll last and look more crispy every time you give it a clean

Reminds me of 2006 laser 4 leather once it broke in. I think I’m passing on these cause I still got the 2019 pair. Even followed your instructions and painted the edges of the nubuck (something JB definitely should have done with this)
Jordan 4 bred is my ABSOLUTE favorite sneaker of all time. I was lucky to enough to get a pair in 2019, and now I got a W on the shock drop yesterday. I am beyond ecstatic

I personally prefer the OG / durabuck Bred 4s but my '19 pair been a nightmare to maintain and keep clean and absolute magnet for dust or any particles like that. These reimagined Bred 4s came out very well imo and leather will be easy to keep clean and less to worry about overall with wearing them etc , they should wear / hold up better over time. Not usually a fan of regular leather on darker AJ4 colorways but in this case think it works pretty well. Plus Bred 4s one of my all time favorite Jordan colorways ; that along with added comfort and improved shape ; can't pass these up. Regardless of supposed high stock will def be a tough retail cop.
The nubuck is definitely hard to keep clean! My 2019 pair can attest to that lol.
@@mrfoamersimpson 100% , just leaving them out / out of the box for a few days they attract dust / any sort of particle in the vicinity as well. Total dust magnet that material. I love the look of it durabuck / nubuck , especially with darker colorways on AJ4s , but definitely has its drawbacks as well.
It’s around my birthday this pair comes out and this is really the only 4 I’ve ever just wanted to wear regularly that I feel like that could go with a lot that I have

These are dope. An instacop. No question. I was hoping people would keep hating on these. But lately i'm noticing a lot of band wagon folk riding the wave. All this talk about the OG's. The OG's are dope no doubt. But these ain't those. And these are what we getting right now. It's wild to me that it took this long for a leather bred 4 to drop. As a chicago guy. I always thought it was weird that MJ always hooped in nubuck 4's, 5's, and 6's in black. And they saved the leather for the white pairs. We used to hoop and play baseball, tag or whatever in our J's when we were young and our shoes would look dusty as fuck afterwards. Because Black nubuck was never really ideal. ButI guess it didn't really matter. These are a 9.5/10 for me. I'm grabbing a pair. for sure. And i'm considering doubling up. Peace to all and stay safe.

Speaking on the reimagine Royal 1s they nice. I also think they the most comfy 1s in awhile. The inside of them feel better than the lost and founds, UNC toe, gorge green and have a foot comfort like og lows. They nice. I gotta pick up a pair of these 4s though. Wanting the military blue 4s also
I must say i agree with both of yall i dont think you can go wrong with the o.g or the reimagine one's i do like the leather better because i do think they would last longer i hate when nubuck fades so its nice to get a different touch on these

I was able to cop today for retail. I just wanted to see if I could get them. They definitely weren’t a must-cop for me. I figured they’d be an early birthday to myself. That’s the only reason I tried to cop.
I think if these came out before the Nubuck pair people would say they prefer them over the ogs. People don’t like change but these are a cop regardless! 🔥

Respect to the OGs, but I prefer these if only cause I can wear these without much thought on the weather or anything else. I think what makes it a good reimagined is how good would these be if they were the OG or in terms of the 1s and 3s, the aging is done right. I cant say the suede on a J1 OG high really fits. I dont know of a good one. But we see leather 4s all the time, so it works.
These are fire 🔥 and I have no doubt the leather will age beautifully, but I still got my 2019 pair and they’re crisp with no midsole cracking at all. I can’t justify copping these , but good luck to whoever wants em 💯
have a pair of the OGs ive been wearing a lot lately knowing I have another on ice. still need to see in person for myself. after watching videos I like how the suede nubuck has the OG's look pitch black compared to the gloss of the leather. that being said, I can't wait for these to release. the BRED 4 is art regardless and I will be doubling up for personals. stating the obvious the leather looks better aged than the OGs.

I think I prefer these redesign details over those of the lost & founds but somehow dont feel as compelled to pay a big ticket for these, maybe its just the times, some lunch money possibly as my 2019s are a pretty good shape for that particular production run

How is this the first video I have seen if this channel. Easily the best sneaker channel so far. Not cringe and annoying like almost every other sneaker channel I’ve been watching for the last two years. Instant subscribe. Also I love these shoes. The moment I saw the first images I was all about it and knew it would rival and maybe surpass the OG. And I kinda think it has just in its wearability. If the original had been leather and the reimagined was nubuck no one would ever think the nubuck is preferable. Just sayin.

As far as the "reimagined series", I wish they would've kept the story telling like with the L&F 1s. It's a small detail but I do like how the flipped the box on these.
