Exactly, the only part UK media will show of Wuhan is the market or the Wuhan lab. Bit like the only places they show in Beijing is Tianmen Sq, Forbidden City or the Great Wall, most of the time- it's the polluted sky or policemen nearby.

I watch this video abroad and it makes me miss China so much.
Great video! In the video, you talk about you have no need to do a security check in the subway it's because if you carry a lady purse or tote bag, you can just let the security staff scan it. If you are carrying a backpack or suitcase you should do security checks. Wuhan and other cities in China are indeed very similar because most cities in China have developed rapidly in the past ten years and built similar high buildings. In fact, Culture and food in Wuhan are quite special, they have different breakfast cultures, and the different breakfast 热干面, 三鲜豆皮, etc.

When you stared at people and point your camera at them, they are probably going to stare back at you. And most likely it is more of curiosity. Unlike the west, Chinese don't instigate any racial attack against anyone normally. Actually it is more common in the western street that people out of nowhere hurled racial slur. I guess that is what they called freedom of expression.

Foreign misunderstandings about China largely come from some media's untrue reports. I hope there will be more and more videos that record real Life in China.China welcomes all friendly friends❤️
