Except when it says you can recover files free. You download it, get the process started, and then it says you can go no further until you pay for it. So essentially it is holding your files hostage until you send them the money, and who know if you can get your files even after that. No thanks. I'll go with another system that doesn't do extortion.
Hi Sir, I had been using 1 of my pendrive until 24 Nov 2021 when I plug into my CPU, the first prompt is I need to Format the disk before I can use, I click Cancel and next prompt says E:\ is not accessible, may I know is this consider corrupted? I tried using a different software before this, called 'photorec', and in the process I think I may have extracted some of the uncrypted files onto the destination of the one partition I was trying to recover (accidentally), when I ignored the instruction
'Please select a destination to save the recovered files to. Do not choose to write the files to the same partition they were stored on.' Do you think that the overwritten files will be permanently lost or will your software be able to recover them as well?
Tried it and it found nothing on the USB drive. On Friday I had hundreds of files. Today nothing? It makes no sense to me. I'm a teacher, and I've lost everything I've ever made in the last 20 years for my students. I can't believe it.

After accidentally preforming a quick format ony 2 Terabyte external drive I used recoverit to do a 8hour quick scan that found 3.4 terabyte of data. I paid the money and recovered all the video images and documents.
Downsides: images and videos were sometimes two to give times and all were called No File Name, with a list of numbers which will take months to sort but at least I got all the data for under one hundred dollars so I'm happy to recommend it

i down loaded it and everytime it says payment required even the so called free version..

I heard some time ago, that plugging in a pen drive into a mac after you used it on a Windows, it will "destroy" the pen drive and make it unusable.
