I know it’s no fun but this is y I ride solo,,, I can do what I want and ride like I want and if something happens it’s on me and nobody else…hope everyone is ok,,
Last time I did a group ride was in 03 in Fayettenam, NC. I was riding with my buddy Dickson when we got into a ride with like 10 other sportbikes riders. Well, after doing all the dumb shyte around town we got back to Skibo Dr when a cop pulled out and blocked our lane. the line of bikes started like 3-4 cars from the light and Dickson and I were at the back. I looked at him and said, "Yo, we gotta roll! We're in the Army!" He responded, "You go first." So I backpedaled the bike back a foot or two, spueaked it in between a car and truck and railed it out of there. Got to a gas station a few miles away, pulled in and started hitting my boy up. 45 mins later he gets back to me and tells me how after I got out, the guy behind us got out and as he went to roll the truck blocked the hole. He ended up with a rack of tickets like exhibition racing, reckless endangerment and some other stuff. Since then I ride with no more than about 3-4 riders. And they all have their licenses and insurances straight and ride cruisers haha! Keeps me in check on the Busa. :)
guaranteed that 87% of any meet up don't have and never will take an msf course or even get their M endorsement lol. Stay away from large group rides people, go to the meet but be selective on who you leave the lot with.
I always am, this info is to live by! FastLaneD came down to Daytona for Biktoberfest. I stayed the whole time at Daytona Motorsports. I wanted to ride with them all so bad but I branched off. Group rides aren’t for me 2-3 riders along with me or I ride by myself. Just for these reasonings man.
@@Jason-ip6wq I reckon they have no idea how to ride as a group 3 or 4 lanes wide all over the place and pulling wheelies. That's not a group ride that's kaos on 2 wheels.
It doesn't matter if you're the best biker in the world, group ride accidents can involve anyone. The risks are exponentially increased when you have too many moving variables.
Sometimes I miss group rides but then I remember the unnecessary attention and consequences that come with. I did a big memorial ride and that was fun; one minor incident with vehicle but no serious injuries. I was in this cliche group on Facebook, went on a few rides with them. Lot of them were doing wheelies, things like that the first time so I just blew it off. Second time, same thing but with blocking traffic, running red lights so I just left the group and rode somewhere else. Following weeks, one had minor crash but uninjured, another sadly passed away in a solo crash. Several were complaining but the police harassing them and such on Facebook comments. I was already considering to leave the group itself but I guess me pointing out about them playing the fool on a bike is what is causing them to get unwanted attention from the police. Shortly after they “kicked” me out of the group page. Less than a year later, the page and group itself disbanded.
I am 57 and stopped riding in groups back in 2001. Too many people that talk like they can ride but can’t. I have more fun riding alone and riding my ride. Stay safe
This is why I never got into group rides at all. I accidentally got sucked into to a group ride out of coincidence. I go out of my way to avoid them because there’s always that one guy that’s goes down. Hope everyone’s alright stay safe out there
Awesome video! Definitely one for the books, despite the crash 😢. Everyone just needs to stay vigilant, but it was a great learning experience all around. Incredible footage - I’ll be staying tuned! 💫🔥 #ATLBIKELIFE
Back of the pack always got drama, all those pow pow / non BP wheelies up front were crazy too. People not skilled enough to BP have no business picking it up in a group like that, just asking for problems. TF was that riders meeting like? "K bois, if you have a clutch, just dump it and hit the gas, no rules, we just want roller footy!"
100% they were riding outside their limits. From what I saw y’all are chasing wheelies and that right there lets me know y’all’s riding egos aren’t in check
The guy in the red claiming he was trying to slow down is the one who rear ended the other guy. The innocent guy who got rear ended by the guy at 8:50 had to go to the hospital because of him
Is this what a group ride looks like in the USA.. overload of testosterone, total disregard for any other road use or road regulation, and y’all wonder why someone’s on the asphalt. And you wonder why other vehicle drivers have zero respect for you. On a motor way no less.. that’s some sort of joy riding in a straight line.. thank you, but no thank you..

@@RealJay1kNice wheelies man, hopefully I'll have my bike together and ready by next riding season

Seriously, most don’t even know to ride staggered in groups, or even the hand signals

Even less have actual full coverage motorcycle insurance policy and will run if they cause an accident.

Everybody remember, there’s a difference between a mob ride and a group ride.

Atl never fails to surprise. That’s a crazy amount of bikes on the connector at 4. Hope everyone is good
Hope everyone is ok. May I include this on my channel? It'll be credited back

Next time somebody let me know the next MOB ride loll fire video
