I'm part Italian, Gio, and I also love pizza and pasta. I miss having a good Italian sub too. I also like anchovies in my Ceasars salad. The pizza in the Philippines is sub-par to say the least. I make my own Italian meatballs and pasta with marinara sauce. I even made a lasagna and baked Ziti once. The spaghetti and sauce that Filipinos make just isn't the same. My wife doesn't know Italian dishes. Didn't know what a meatball was. I'll have to go to his restaurant next time I'm in Bacolod and try out the pizza. Take care.

That is quite a find in the Philippines. I generally found that getting really good cheese especially on a pizza was difficult in the Philippines. I would guess that it would have to be imported. It even looks delicious.

Bacolod is a great city to explore! I haven't been live in about 6 months so I probably am due again soon.
After living in Chicago for a while and spending time in NY as well. I had the best pizzas from numerous places. I'm still trying to find a great pizza in the Manila area.
It is tough to find that NY style pizza anywhere.

The PIZZA looks good , my favorite is to make it with PEPPERS , OLIVES , GRAPE TOMATOTES , MOZZ , sprinkled with olive oil on top and while cooking , a little olive oil under the dough.

I can tell you're a foodie and appreciate a good meal. I'll be in the area in July, and I will see if you want to have a good meal, you being retired US Army as I am we could swap tall tales. I'm checking out retirement places (2yrs) and planning on spending some time in Bohol, Bacolod, Iloilo, and Cebu after visiting former in-laws in southern Leyte.

Bacolod has a cheese Brand that is made locally which has lots of variety like italian & american cheese's. i forgot the name of the brand.
Casa Formaggio also in triangle plaza where Talaita pizza is located.

Gio please give the local pizza shops a try. I know the chef Fred very well, he is my friend and I not knocking him or his food, having eaten there a few times. There are some very talented local chefs in Bacolod, not withstanding they are not trained in France, whom make IMHO absoloutly excellent pizzas, at low prices. We are in the Philippines and I always try support locals whom do not have the advantage of a pension. Check out market place, promise your not going be disappointed.
Please give me some names and I would absolutely love to try. The last video I had on the best burger in Bacolod was from a locally owned shop.
I would not be allowed to give names on you tube how ever will e mail them, we not eat alot of pizza but have couple we really enjoyed. It's nice to support locals whom need it, no pensions in most cases

Gio you have been in Bacolod about a month yet claim this is Bacolods best pizza in your opinion.
Bluntly that's rubbish, there are several smaller pizza shops on the outskirts that have, IMO wonderful tasty pizzas, great prices an owned by locals.
Owned by locals who I can guarantee did not train from a chef who won championships in making pizza in the home of pizza Napoli, Italia. So I find your comment rubbish. One more thing at the very beginning of the video I said in my Opinion it is the best pizza. Have a great day Bruce.

I have NEVER had a good pizza in the Philippines. So skimpy on the toppings, soggy not crispy, and over priced for what You get.
At home, I make traditional Italian spaghetti/pasta. None of this sugar topping crap.
There are better pizzas, just never a great pizzas in the Philippines. But if You are hungry, You will still eat it. Just not enjoyably.
