    If Rishi is going to keep repeating this lie about Hizbut Tahrir, which the Bar Council has made clear is a lie (in a nutshell, their procedures do not allow Barristers to refuse clients, Starmer had no right to refuse), and he's repeated that lie outside the House of Commons, he has to sue him for libel.

    Why doesn't Kier explain to Sunak the fundamental truth that everybody has the right to a fair trial, and that requires somebody to defend them. As a defence lawyer you are always going to have to defend people who you find personally objectionable. But you defend them in the name of justice, and sometimes you will win.

    Oh yes, my pension is ok, but the fixed tax allowace means most of it will be swallowed by the income tax, like last year when I was actually £50 per month worse off. Sunak can grin now, but the elderly electorate and the country are just waiting to kick him out.

      Your comment means you have another source of income other than the old Age Pension. This means that if you earn more than your Old Age pension over the Tax threshold you will pay tax at whatever rate you're eligible for. You complaing about it means that in reality you're just being greedy. I know you would say that you earned it but on a Private Pension when you were paying yours you didn't pay tax on it.
