Yup - the De Fougerolles commentary might have been a bit harsh imo. B is about right. His errors were no where close to the scale of the ones Bombito made in several matches. He was really good, and as hes an 18 year old I saw his performance as a real positive
Nah Kone was an A+. His play against Uruguay alone was absolutely spectacular. He had a rough start to the tournament but ended up being our best player in that 3rd place game.
First off, I wish you were my teacher since you hand out A+’s so easily. An A+ is typically a 97-100. Was Kone perfect? Not even close. Was he almost perfect? Nope. Like many up and coming young players he played fantastic at times, but struggled at times too. His second penalty kick was unappealing. You can’t make two soft middle side shots in your two attempts and expect to score both times. Kone was solid, but definitely not perfect or close to it. I grade your grade as a D because you were completely wrong especially after indicating he had a rough start. “Rough starts” don’t deserve A+’s
Have to disagree that Crepeau didn't do anything wrong. He did allow himself to get chipped from like half-field. That was a pretty big blunder. He was still obviously our best player, but it's a bit disingenuous to claim he did nothing wrong. There was that one glaring error.
That's fair but you can argue that Bombito could have done much better in that situation and that it's also how Marsch wants Crépeau to play, well off of his line.
@@RaySmith79 and the end of the day he had a shit ton of chances and missed them all the most important think about strikers is putting the ball in the back of the net
Great job but You didn’t really Jacob Shaffelburg. Don’t disagree with where you put him but you just ended the video. In the future no need to even mention or consider the players that didn’t feature. I would have rated David higher because without him we wouldn’t have made it past the group stage.
Do you agree with my grades?
Yeah pretty much

@@AltJon10 Totally fair points!

he was awful in the group stage

Ya can't give near an A+ , there's a reason he was pulled as a starter in group play. But he was very good against Venezuala and Uruguay
I would give Canada an A+ for the tournament. You guys defied expectations.
Max, Johnston and Shaff were our best players for sure.
Agrees they were the most consistent game to game. Why hasn't Shaff garnered interest from Europe though?!

I want to staff go europe. He needs to learn how to control the speed and also how to maintain high pace.
Unless Larin makes a drastic 180 in form he needs to be dropped from the starting line up moving forward
Osorio was hilariously bad but playing beside Eustaquio covers up his horibblesness soo bad on the ball and pressing he had one good game out of 5
S- Creapeau , Johnston , Cornelius
A- bombito , Eustaquio , kone , shaffelburg,
B - Davies , Choinere , Ahmed , LDF, DSC,
C- laryea , Buchanan, Tani, Miller, David
D- osorio, millar, larin
Tani deserves more respect, and he is a talent.

toronto fc should try to sign EUSTAQUIO NOW
No because he needs to find another europe team to play. MLS is the last resort.
The coach brought on Alphonso Davies. Which led to a goal.
But took off Alister Johnston.
Was there no one else to take out?
johnston had played every minute of the tournament and was exhausted.
marsch should have parked the bus tho
