  • A place that we found on a drive-by last month, not always do you come across an absolute gem by chance!
Mr W had 6 brothers and 4 sisters. He was born in 1914 in Poland.
Mrs S was born in 1928 in England.
Mr W and Mrs S got married in 1946, they had 1 daughter in 1961 called V.
The earliest letter I found addressed to the property had a 1971 stamp on.
The daughter V married C and had 2 children T and D who now all live in Scotland.
The last time the house was lived in was 2008.
Mr W passed away in 2008 at the age of 94.
Mrs S passed away in 2019 at the age of 90.
Now unfortunately taken over by bird poo, cobwebs and mice.

My son that's 46 now was in the Marines. He went to Russia and brought back for me the 6 stackable dolls. I was so happy. How thoughtful of him.😊
    God Bless and be safe.

I really want to thank you, Paul, and Megan- I had major surgery 6 weeks ago, and i still can't walk yet, but still am in the most excruciating pain you can imagine. Finding your channel had given me some reprieve from the tears and the depression- it has gotten very, very, bad. With you channel, I can go back in time and think of better times and since you go slowly, and are respectful of people's things, it feels safe, if that makes sense? I have weeks to go to recover, but you are making it a touch easier. Thank you so very much,- Gerri, from Colorado, USA

What a darling house! I love the bold 1970s bathroom tile! And that 1970s wallpaper is fantastic! Big and bold! The belt buckle with
"Spirit of 76" is the bicentennial of the United States. I could live there! It seems the houses in the UK have so many interior doors? We have doors on bedrooms, baths & closets but very seldom interior doors to livingrooms, dining rooms,or kitchens. In mad over a the tiny little fireplaces also!

That bungalow guys is absolutely amazing, vintage heaven, I love it, loving the green sofa. The little picture cards you picked up in the tin are brook bond tea cards wich would be in packs of tea and you would collect a set of either 25 or 50, I remember collecting them myself back in the early 90s as a kid, you would send off for the album to put them in

I heard you say you shared the location with someone else i hope that isn't a person called Ben Stevens as he's just been exposed on social media for stealing from abandoned properties and giving other people's locations away, loads of people thought he was trustworthy, you have to be careful who you trust as often they aren't to be trusted.

What a great explore for you both. I'm so glad you were one of the first to see it. There didn't seem to be much that was out of place. Those little cards in the tea tin are likely the ones that were once given away in packets of tea, to be collected. You could send off to the company (about 6d I think, in stamps, to cover the postage, and they'd send you an album! They were done in series like butterflies, flowers etc.. What a lot of thread there was there. Together with the old sewing machines, maybe there was a dressmaker/seamstress here? And lots of German clues, like records/German phrase book/German Readers' Digest and several books. Could someone have been an immigrant to UK? The soap in the metal container in the bathroom was Knight's Castile. When I was a kid it was really popular. I hope that only decent urbexers find their way here, for a long time to come. It was a real treat to see it. I loved when Meghan checked on you to make sure you'd put the jewellery back in place. Quite right Meghan. I know neither of you would dream of taking it, but of course you wanted it back where it belonged! Yes, I do have one of those drawers. (Well, two or three actually)! Thanks guys, that was special and yes, I'm happy too!

Brontee - the famous Bronte sisters of howarth moor, wrote jane eyre kathy and heathcliffe etc wuthering heights - just brilliant women too early for their times who had to write under second names they had made up so people would assume they were men and would then take them seriously, what a waste of artistic energy over the years when females were not respected and looked down on as second rate fit only for marriage - not that marriage is not a great institution -

The worse camera shots ever. Throughout the whole thing your obviously looking yourself and not looking at what is being filmed by the camera. It looks more recent than you state, the gardens not over grown with 13 years of growth, although the Volvo's MOT did expire 1 April 2008 but that could be a second car and had a smaller runabout car. And there's the top of the conservatory, they get pretty cluttered with leaves and there's none of that, the green houses can still be reached. I've not been in y garden for about the same time because I'm disabled and it's totally over grown, including a tree that's started to grown right in the middle that had to to be cut down by my neighbour by jumping the fence because you can't get to it because of the growth.

Hi, appreciate the comment. It's hard to try and fit everything in shot with the gopro. Being in these places you have to be using the bare minimum and sometimes be as quick as possible. If I was to use the DSLR and get wider and norrower shots I'd be forever changing lenses, and my Canon is abit bulky for filming. It better used for the photography. Plus I have the gimble for the gopro, DSLR gimbles cost a bomb and are quite bulky to carry around.
I will aim to provide better shots on the next video 👌

I've watched a load of other vids that others have done and they all managed to get everything in shot and they're using all manor of recording tech, some just like yours, some are just low tech mobile phones but manage it. Good luck on your others though, look forward to watching them. 👍 Thanks⭐
