Does the Bullet Rucker Classic have the same backplate as the Rucker 4.0? I love to ruck with my Rucker 4.0 Short but it was too short for me. Looking to buy Bullet Rucker Classic for rucking but I would like the same lumbar support.
Rucking wise, is there a noticeable difference in using the long 30 lbs plates in this vs. the 4.0 20L with the standard plate which looks to sit up higher on the back. Is one more comfortable than the other? I'm trying to decide between this 15L Bullet Rucker and the Rucker 4.0 20L for rucking around my neighborhood. Thoughts?
I’m torn, I really think the 20l Rucker is the best size for me but want to be able to fit a tall 45lb plate later on, this leaves me with the bullet which seems too small or the 25l Rucker which seems to big. Bleh
It is a fail point. Ruckers usually have giant metal plates in them and get thrown around. This inevitably means busted zippers. No zipper = no busted zipper.
Whats the max weight you think could be stuffed into this? Between the 45 plate and possibly bricks or sand? I love this size but don't want to have to move up to a bigger bag just for weight. I would only use this for rucking I have a similar size bag for my EDC
I mean, you could probably get a couple 45# plates in there if you wanted. Since the Rucker has slightly more narrow straps, that sounds rather uncomfortable.
Do think it'll fit a 15.6” laptop? I'm thinking of getting this as a dual-purpose bag (EDC and Rucking/PT).. Loving the fact that it has a frame sheet, vs the traditional Bullet, but the lack of zippers is throwing me off..
I do love the 10L for running errands, but it's also pretty small. On these new ruckers....I just can't get over not having the front pocket, where I throw my phone and keys :( Also, I'm curious what you think of the velcro v. the zippers???? They feel noisy
I don't love the velcro. I guess if I had to, I'd get used to it. But, having Bullets and Ruckers that do have zippers, I'll probably stick with those.
Recently purchased one. Not all that impressed. Even with a modest load the shoulder straps tend to bind and pinch. A decent day-bag perhaps. certainly not worth the price in my opinion.
I wouldn't say it is "terribly" designed. They obviously wanted to go for max capacity on the 15L and only had one real choice on the 10L. So, seems intentional to go big for 15L. That said, feels like sizing for the 30# standard for the 15L would have made more sense.
I'm so glad they did this with this one. Cause I can go up to 45# and have a smaller bag that is only 18.5" tall the 20L rucker only fits the standard plates. I think it's a great option for us shorter people who need more weight.
Thanks for this! Killer job describing all the details on this vs. the rucker and regular bullet. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the kind words!
great details. I just took advantage of the sale and ordered the 15L. Looking forward since I only have the GR2 right now.
Nice. Hope you enjoy it.

Yes, but it is a little smaller than the one on the classic.

I honestly haven’t picked the bullet Rucker up too much since this review. My go-to is always the 20l Rucker for rucking. So, I guess that’s my vote.

Hunt down a 20L Rucker 3.0 and you’re good to go.
@@Rucking thanks for the reply, looking at the second hand market currently 👍
Why would Goruck ditch the zippers for the inner pockets ?

@@Rucking I’ll look at more of your videos. I should probably bite the bullet and grab the 25l rucker. Buy once cry once right?
@@zac_in_ak I prefer 21L, but, yeah. Also, check 3rd party sites. You can usually find a good deal if you’re patient.

I just put a 15.6” Acer Chromebook into the plate pocket. Perfect fit.

Yeah. I'm not sure it is a great "rucker." Could do in a pinch or with lighter weight, but would prefer 20L in a head to head.
velcro is so hard to use it's a disaster
Yeah. Not my favorite.
Thanks for the review. With that terribly designed plate pocket this is another miss from GORUCK.
