I absolutely love it on my Rucker 3.0. If they put out a GR1…. I’ll have to bust out the CC to grab one. I am alsonwxcitedntomhavrbotnon my new LR Rucker. That is going to make travel nice.
you could DIY your own molle by hand sewing! i did that to my LBT8007A lol, and sewn over the water bottle pouch to boot, to attach a pouch. eventually i removed it by using a seam ripper, doesnt leave any visible holes
I rock the LBT 14L and one thing I really credit it for is the amount of stretch it has. I feel as if the 14L punches a little above its weight in storage due to elasticity. Granted you cant go wrong with either bag.
They are both such great packs. I really wish I still had the is bullet. But I do still have my LBT 14l. And mostly because o agree with you. I feel like you can fit a little more in it than the bullet. But the bullet does fit a surprisingly large amount of stuff. I can fit everything but my laptop form a 21l GR1 into a bullet no problem. My other main issue with the bullet is the lack of side MOLLE. I got this intending to use it as a dad bag, but not being able to put water bottle pockets on the bag was the final straw that had me sell this pack. Sure you can go t he SCARS route, but that ends up costing more than the bag and weeks to months of wait time. So the LBT made the cut and the bullet did not.
@@Skycop24 I will get packs without them.... mostly for my work EDC bag, but I do prefer them on all my packs. Even if I am not carrying a bottle, they are super handy pockets on a bag. #dadlife
Love your videos. I plan to get the Bullet Rucker because it will have the 45lbs sleeve for the plate which can also be used for a laptop. I intend to use it as a dad bag and Ruck. I would send it to scars to get that side mole and handles on the side.
If I didn't have the very similar LBT 14L Daypack V2, I probably would have spent the cash and sent my bullet to SCARS for side PALS to be added. But at $30 a strip $180 plus shipping each way!
@@jeffgrantMEDIA Yeah, I'll have to really think about it. I would also want to add it to the bottom of my Long Range 33L that I got, mostly cause of your video. FYI, love it. Thank you! For the price of the 26L GR2 I got that and the 45lbs weigh plate. Took on a camping trip and my wife was shocked at how much I got into it. @@damonluvisi The 33L LR is a hell of a deal! I don't think it will be around next year, or at least in the form it is right now. I really think they made the Rucker 4.0 changes to make the bag not compete with the GR1. With the LR's being basically a GR2 with the laptop sleeve on the inside.... nearly a year later an no replies. I would personally not carry that weight in a 15L bag. While I think a 1000d GR pack could handle it, i think it may not be very comfortable (not like carrying 40lbs of dead weight would be the least bit comfortable).
I'm close to buy the 16L laptop earth but i'm still bit hesitant about the comfort. I have no experience with goruck. As I am rather skinny and my shoulders are anything but broad or muscled, I don't know if those wide distance, wide straps would fit my body right.
@@mat8650 I’ve never had a TB bag ( hate the look of them) but EG and Osprey are more comfortable at first. GR bags have very thick straps. Combine that with the webbing and they are pretty beefy until broken in. They are not uncomfortable, but comparing them to bags made for outdoor or hybrid use, GR comes in last. But the bag itself will outlive us all. So once broken in, they are great, and would be a great apocalypse bag.

If the shipping didn’t cost as much as the damn bag, I would’ve had two CT tactical bags along time ago. I see you plenty full on the secondhand market now, I have been considering them highly. Just been into a few other things lately for you. But I gotta get back to my backpack roots.

Did you not hear the part where it would cost $135 to get them added? That’s more than I paid for the bag. Then add wait time and the cost of LBT water bottle pockets. It’s not cost effective. But it’s a great pack. Almost a perfect Disney pack.
