Just heard the terrible news about the untimely death of Rick Froberg. Rest in peace Rick. Thank you for all the great music and visual art! You will be missed.
That's a great picture! Jehu rules. It's unfortunate, though, for those out there who have to balance the taking of medications for actual ailments with an actual distaste or just an outright disgust for having to take anything for anything... not to mention social judgements and stigmas that come along with it all. Anyhow, a little OT there, but, I have this tendency to be overtly empathetic/sympathetic while simultaneously avoiding walking a path of hypocrisy, at least in part, and as a natural result.
I'd probably pay 5,000 USD to travel back in time for that show. This is my favorite Jehu song and it makes me sad there are no live recordings of it.@@seanoleary4717

That drummer. Damn.
The vocals sound like a mix of Guy Picciotto and Henry Rollins
I love this song so much, when the tempo changes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck.
The lyrics are pieces of images. Better than lyrics that are just empty.
best jehu song
One of the best riffs ever

Thank you for posting this.
1:33 best part.
Even better second time around, with the heavy drumming!
Loving that pumping transition at 3:39 *drools*
great band
Does anybody know why they never ever play this one live?
Maybe it's simply TOO powerful?
That has to be it. It's just too raw.
because he says retarded
Always wanted to cover this song ..
They played it the first time I saw them in 1992. It was dope.

Great, just great
So bad ass!!!
Great song. Who sings the "Bloody foot print swollen tongue, scaly skidmark better run, bitter swallow get you numb" part?
It doesnt sound like Rick. Speedo def sings lead, then trades to Rick, but that one part, i dunno...
+johnnyscifi
Nevermind, that line is Rick Frorberg, the voice that joins speedo in the chorus, i have no idea...:p
+johnnyscifi
He sounds really different on those parts. It's a very androgynous voice.
Thanks :D
+Ephelizard
Theres definitely 3 vocalists in this song
+johnnyscifi Guy Picciotto is the third.
