      Because people love to have a lot of chrome tabs open in the background, although its totally not efficient, myself included.
      Its not that much of a nauseance, but its always nice to have a chrome tab open instantly from RAM memory than reloading completely.
      On the low-end PCs I think its a pretty good deal, it would be better if they improved the low-end processors.
      The dual-core celerons and AMDs and atom processors really have no place in 2018. I would know, because I am writing this on a celeron n3060 and after a few weeks I realized, I fucked up, cause its the only thing thats not upgradeable and soldered onto the motherboard and it will bottleneck every upgrade I make.
      Anyways, my rant is over. Thoughts?

    • @MrWARRIORMONKS
      @MrWARRIORMONKS 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      For reference it takes me around 10-12 Chrome tabs before I run into freezing/slowing down as pages are swapped out. So not a lot with 6gb of ram....
      The N4100 probably has a decent performance boost over N3450 and the ram speed is faster, so with 8gb it would be decent for day-to-day tasks.

    • @Saul700
      @Saul700 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nedimsisic2370 Yeah.. no amount of RAM or an SSD will help you with that chip. But hey, N4100 is good for office documents, web browsing and media (music/movies), so if you need to do anything heavier than that, then it's time to upgrade. I'd say wait till Q3 2019 I bet i5 will be cheaper.

  • @cuncapt

    For all people wondering about 4GB of RAM - they most likely didn't go for 8GB because not only that laptop would cost more with that more expensive memory - it would also cost more because Windows license is pricier if manufacturer wants it for device that has more than 4GB of RAM.

    Hey. I'm wondering. What's the best performance for the buck Chinese laptop's where you can use, Facebook, TH-cam and HD and/or higher. Typing on office programs. Netflix HD or higher. Preferably also with 8gig ram. There is such a big sea of low end but good performing laptops that I really dont know where to start. For my knowlage i5 or higher is the best for this use. Thanks for any answere. Great videos btw. ... and it can maby be a windows 10 tablet also. Dont know yet.

    I have a ezbook 3 pro v1 and I would like to upgrade a little. My main concern is the missing ssd slot I have and the awful TouchPad. Would you say this chuwi is a good alternative or would you recommend something else? Thanks!

      If you only need it for basic tasks yes happy with the pwoer it has yes, it's a nice upgrade over it and much better than the EZBook Pro V1

      Does it really bring you to that next level? So not forget the 6gb of ram ... boot your win 10 and look how much is free: 4 GB and now imagine to have Just 2 instead of 4 GB RAM. Save 3 to 6 months your money to get a thinker 35 with twice AS fast CPU, 8 GB RAM, gute SSD and MS surface Screen. 329€ is what i had paid for. Eversthing is top. Far better than my ezbook 3pro V6 I had owned before since last August.

    Hi there, is this Chuwi Lapbook SE compatible with SSD up to 240gb or above?
    Is it only compatible for SSA M.2 2280 model?

    I disagree with your argument on eMMC. It allows to change drives or even completely remove them and you still have a working PC. As long as eMMC is used by manufacturer, Windows have to be preinstalled there. eMMC doesn't make sense as a drive for other files. As you see it's not a problem to change it for power user like you.

      Limits the performance somewhat, but people that are serious will clone it over. I can see the increase in speed now running on the SSD. Trouble is Windows has only 14GB free on that eMMC, so sooner rather than later it will run out of space and you wont be able to run Windows 10 updates.

      That's true, 32GB might not be enough with 64bit version, default swap file sizes, hibernation, recovery files and compactOS turned off.

    Well, adding 4 GB at 300$ might not really work cause to close to thinker 35 which comes with better Screen, Power, Touch, CPU, ... in my eyes
