    @20:58 You pulled down your place five for a field...now your field competes againts your own $100 lay 10. Put the $5 chip...same move, horn high 12 or 2...now you don't compete against your lay 10

    I'm a fairly new player. Love the channel and wanted to share two things. I actually didn't know what color up meant till yesterday when I went to a local casino, and ended up winning about 600 on a 100 dollar bank roll. The table mentioned as I was leaving to color me up, so I was actually shocked to get a 500 dollar chip. Probably good since I stopped at another table and only bet my other reds and gave back a hundred on yo bets. I like betting on hard ways and yo bets on the come out roll. Also, I'm just starting to play lay bets but I don't think I want a hundred on any single number despite the strategies working. But thanks for sharing. I first learned craps in Vegas several years ago, and the guy teaching said quote "bad news if you learn this game, all the other games here are going to be boring." He was right.

    10:15 you forgot to collect his $1 vig for the no 10 upfront and you didn't collect it after it came down at 11:00 either. And his $2 vig for his $100 lay on the 10 right after. I believe all lays are generally paid vig upfront.

    Just ran this betting strategy against a few "random" shooters but it was the stickman who wooped the dog shiy outta me ..they constantly set the dice on 4 and 10 set when I ever I layed it....even if the point was 6 8 or 9 and sometimes 63 on top with 10 on the inside ...lost ended up having to lay 2k from 50 bucks to get my money back before the shooter crapped out

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How did the stickman effect? I’m not following. The shooter does what he wants with dice after they are pushed to him?

    When that 4 showed, you shoulda moved that lay 10 to lay the 4.
    That's based on statistics. That $100 lay on 10, you were chasing/gambling.

    • @randy5248
      @randy5248 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Sean: Based on what statistics?
      Isn't all craps gambling? 🤔😊

    • @CrapsDownUnder
      @CrapsDownUnder 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Statistics is long term averages over thousands of rolls, what happens in a session has a lot of variance and often has little correspondence to the long term probabilities.
      Just because a number rolled doesn't mean it's any less likely to roll again, in fact based on the necessary clumping of random numbers (as they don't appear in perfect frequency like a Swiss watch) I'm more inclined to bet with an eye to numbers repeating within a short sequence of rolls than against them. Anyone who uses a come bet or presses a bet is expecting a repeater.

    • @seanjones3551
      @seanjones3551 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@randy5248I think that good craps strategy, is indeed gambing. However, using statistics gives you an "ally,' so-to-speak.

    • @seanjones3551
      @seanjones3551 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CrapsDownUnder Great point, and I just subbed. Respectfully, I agree and disagree;
      A, for example, a new craps player should at least know that point 4 or 10 has a statistical chance of 33.333 against a 7. These are just built-in facts.
      To your point, if my bankroll is big enough, say $1000, on a $10 minimun table, I like to find a sharp shooter and just ride out his or her roll, but that's easier said than done, lol.
      Where do you play at?
      BTW...what's your best methos to tip dealers?

    • @CrapsDownUnder
      @CrapsDownUnder 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@seanjones3551 Cheers. I'm based in Australia and tipping is not allowed here so I don't really have many suggestions other than putting the dealer on whatever I'm doing. Not sure if player maintains control of the dealer bets or not but pressing/regressing bets etc just how I'm playing my own bets would be how I'd do it. The idea being to keeps dealers interested in your play and it's a win together / lose together affair.
      I'm a big one for playing with situational awareness and not just playing any strategy like a robot. When shooters are repeating then do your best to get on it light side or avoid those if your playing don'ts or lays.

Maybe try a best 2 out of 3 Jeremy? I’d be interested to see who where’s the crown after another challenge. Big respect for you both.

  • @bluemoon2934
    @bluemoon2934 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It would be good to lay the 4 or 10 every time you had a don’t bet on the line…..But mixin in all these other place and come bets along with it seems like defeating the purpose of the dark side bets.

    • @ermesborgnino4704
      @ermesborgnino4704 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The way i look at it, it's just another way to win. A 6 & 8 will always show because they are right next to the 7. The way i see it, i would be missing out if i didn't also play the 6 & 8. Just gotta be careful when doing so. i used to have feelings about playing both sides, but not anymore. When a don't player is standing at a table, and sees an opportunity to win on the 6 & 8, he just might try to find a way to leverage that opportunity. That's what i did, and that started my journey down this path years ago. Now i use the Don't Pass all the time, and constantly think about how to leverage and protect my bets from a 7 showing. Just makes good sense in a game where a 7 is likely to show.

    I have been waiting for this matchup. Since he knows Jeremy usually has very short rolls , Jacobs hybrid strategy should prevail. Just has to dodge comeouts and an easy victory.

    I like the new Puck Timer and the addition of player's name graphics.
    Keep up the good work. Maybe if the puck was angled in some way, it would reduce the glare. I could see the minutes, but not the seconds.

    New to the game, you have a great channel. Question - can the non shooter make other bets besides pass and don’t pass. For example, make minimum bets on 4,5,6,8,9,10 when not shooting?

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Non shooter can make any bet. Shooter can also make any bet but is required to have at least a minimum pass or don’t pass to roll the dice.

    and it looked like he was pressing then winning and then coming down off his top with the house money .
