I can so understand you being unsettled/apprehensive about it all after all we’ve been through. We are still ‘shielding’ (even though that isn’t a thing anymore!) and so I cannot imagine an actual event!! Your yarn choices, as always are perfect. That fibre from Andy and Angela looks fabulous. Wonderful! You came home with some true treasures. I’m still masking in public (immunocompromised), but I’m finally starting to feel more comfortable with people around me, again. Thank you for sharing a some of the lovely memories you made!! My spinning adventure continues! My beautiful little Schacht Ladybug, after several delays, arrived safe and sound on the 6th. I’m now making a concerted effort to spin daily. I’m utterly obsessed! I’m loving every minute. Thank you for all the encouragement and support!
Masks are not mandatory here any more, that is quite a recent thing for Wales, but I am still wearing mine while I'm indoors. Even though I'm not immunocompromised, it's a small inconvience and so if it helps to keep others safe I'm happy to continue to do so. WIth the exception of a couple of photos with friends mine stayed on all day. Oh yay so happy that you are loving your new wheel, I'm so thrilled for you, and cannot wait to hear about all of the beautiful yarns you will make xx

Lovely video. You got some beautiful yarns - the orange Cartref is just spectacular. Imagine that with a dark, forest green 😃. Glad that you had such a good time. Just one question: Do you knit socks on just pure, non superwash wool, rather than superwash plus nylon? I am doing the heel flap on the second of my first pair of socks since surgery. As I will be in a wheelchair for most of my life, my socks will not get much wear, so I wondered what your thoughts were - I have a lot of sanctuary wool that would be ideal. I’m jealous you got to meet Marce… I actually knew she was going to be there and I was looking out for her all day but as you say, sometimes your paths just don’t cross. But I did manage to meet Martyn which was great. It was amazing and overwhelming and fun and I’m so glad we bumped into you and Lisa right at the beginning. That Hilltop Cloud fibre you got is gorgeous. I’m looking forward to seeing how it spins up.
