I have been watching you for a few years and I think this might be my favorite video. As a single mom myself I know how much this meant to Melinda, not just the extra groceries but that time with mom and dad ❤
Melinda was so touched with you both buying her shopping. Scarlet is such a polite little girl a credit to Melinda. Aaron and Joe struggled with the table a little, so glad Melinda waited for them to move the table. Blessings to you all.
Jamie is endearing. As the age gap between Crystal and her is 7 or 8 years, she easily has a best friend and Mom in one. It is beautiful to watch how much so loves both Aaron and her biological Dad.
Jamie is the sweetest! Actually all your children are lovely! I love that you did the surprise grocery shopping to help your adult kids and also how much they appreciated it. Scarlett is adorable! I shop like Crystal! Love greek yogurt! hot sauce and yogurt, not sure about it! Joe is hilarious! My friend literally went from Canada to US for 10 jars of Claussan pickles! I eat oatmeal all the time, that brand but didn't know about the line! We still have toys in our cereal! My mom loves pickled pigs feet!
The phone call with Melinda had me in tears instantly! I had an extremely toxic childhood. I was abused in every way possible since the age of 4. My whole life ive strived for perfection just to be accepted and loved by my mom. Shes terminal and I put off my whole life to help her and be there for her she admits out of her 7 kids shes always treated me the worst and yet im the only one there for her. Im 33 and she just moved 3hrs away a year ago and about 6 mo after she left she started saying I love you when she realized just how much ive always done for her. When I was pregnant with my son she told me to get an abortion and give him up for adoption the entire time. She even talked the nurse into letting her in the delivery rm against my wishes where she proceeded to tell me to give him up. The first and only positive thing shes ever said to me is that she is proud of the mom I became and she can't believe how good of a mom I am to my son especially doing it on my own. I love how supportive and loving you guys are to all your kids and its beautiful to see the way they appreciate all you do for them. I love watching your videos and hope to do foster care in the future after growing up in and out of foster care. Just know you guys showing your lives for the world to see gives others inspiration and a sense of family❤❤
Oh Aaron. Your so funny. I just love how you guys think of the older kids. Buying them groceries to buying tickets to a me or trips. Not very many parents would do this. Hugs 💕💕
So true. Our parents were always there. Now both of my parents have past and so many times would love to see them and talk. Husbands mom has pass too. She was wonderful to me as a daughter in-law.
I just love Melinda so much she’s such a great mama, daughter friend etc.Scarlett is just the cutest I can’t believe how big she is.Crystal and Aaron you guy’s are great parents and grandparents.much love to you all Crazypieces!!!🥰🫶
My mom was helping me a lot. My name was on her checking account. She’d ask me do u need money for the ulitily bill . She’d say go write a check & be sure to deduct it. I was the one to balance her check book. She was always helping. Miss my mother. I know Melinda appreciated that. Wonderful parents ❤❤❤❤❤
Poor Joe....his heart was so broken over the fact they don't put toys in cereal boxes any more. It's ok, Joe! It broke my heart, too, when they stopped doing it! We love you, Joe❤❤ Much Love Always, Kristen B 💕💕💕💕
Haha my toxic trait is……….I’m SUPER NEEDY, I’ll straight hug my parents like 4-5 times in a day each and if they don’t let me I get a little DRAMATIC🤣🤣🤣💯
Aw that was nice to help with groceries :) I'm a bit confused what eating healthy has to do with glutenfree/lactose free eating. It is not more healthy unless you are intolerant to those foods. @@bria4145 Yeah exactly. Maybe some people just don't know. That's why I thought I'd mention it. I'm lactose intolerant and I can't eat either of those things without pills and even with those only a small amount is okay. A lot of people cut out all cheese too, but there is a lot of cheeses that are naturally virtually lactose free.
@@bria4145 Oh yeah for sure. I tolerate small amounts, but eating out is risky. Servers often don't know what is safe even if you ask. @@bria4145 That is true. Processed food has so much sodium in it. I never noticed how bad it was until I quit processed food for a while and only made things from scratch. After that there is a bunch of stuff I will not eat anymore, because it just tastes salty to me.
Hi Crystal and family i watched your videos and honestly I’m not a person to comment but honestly this a heartfelt of you guys doing this for your older children’s shopping for them you and your husband are such a blessing even that they moved out of home but you guys still share that love traveling all that way to give them a helping hand wow it’s so amazing they are so lucky and blessed to have youse, I truely learned something from you guys today you guys are so positive no matter what such a beautiful family yous created much love to you guys ❤
I put All the fridge and freezer stuff away straight away but tins and packets wait until I get a break as I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis so have to take a break in between
Aaron, Crystal and Joe: how sweet of you all help Melinda and Scarlett out. Melinda you are AMAZING MOTHER. Aaron and Crystal: you great PARENTS and amazing children you have. Aaron: good luck for your team.
I want to say that getting groceries is always one of the greatest gifts. We struggle being able to keep food on the table for our kids. My husband had a medical problem and lost his job after surgery. We have been struggling to get basic needs. This video reminds me how wonderful it is to help even with just groceries. You never know how badly someone may need that help.
Melinda hit the jackpot 😂😂😂 with the price of groceries these days!! I love snacking on pepperoni too!! Melinda and I like a lot of the same snacks and foods😊
I don’t know if you read all the comments but I went to a friends house today and she had managed to find “PRIME” drinks at our Walmart. Then she used her Walmart +app to check the supply at nearby stores for curbside pick up. Knowing your kids were so excited when they found the PRIME drinks at Walmart I thought this might help you aquire some in the future💗 I love how much you love each of your kids. It truly inspires me
Chocolate Covered Katie is one of my favorites to go to for gluten free and dairy free recipes!! She has a coconut milk caramel sauce: 13.5 oz coconut milk 1/3 cup pure maple syrup, honey, or agave 1/4 cup brown sugar OR simply increase the above liquid sweetener to 2/3 cup 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract 1/4 tsp salt optional 1 tbsp butter-type spread or coconut oil, for richer flavor

I do something similar every 3-4 months. I ask them to pick 7 recipes from the recipe box and text it to me. I make a grocery list, cook it and divide into containers or gallon freezer bags and freeze flat (place bags flat on a baking sheet; while putting another baking sheet without pressing down. It will help keep them flat. Remove baking sheets and stand bags upright). I made them a recipe box with all the family recipes and their favorites. All they have to do is pull out recipe card and it has both the full recipe and reheating after thawing instructions.I bought fridge containers on Amazon for $32. I do this for friends who’ve just had a baby or loved one who passes. Good food & the veggies or anything else needed for the recipes, To them that is both a thoughtful thought & loving gesture from a mama to her cubs (adult cubs).
We never ate much dairy and noticed a huge difference completely cutting it out. Went through food testing and holistic care to learn that some of the most common foods to cause inflammation were affecting me too. Black and white pepper (I grind grains of paradise now), peanut, chickpea, bakers yeast and brewers yeast, sesame, chicken egg whites and yolks, and tuna. I also eat as little sugar as possible. While I was healing myself I ate no sugar, not even fruit. I had constant debilitating migraines before I cut these foods out. The only migraines I’ve had were after eating things I shouldn’t while trying to gauge when I could start eating things again. The days I paid for eating things I knew I shouldn’t were a giant eye opener. I had accepted feeling like I was dying for so long as normal. If we put the appropriate fuel inside of our bodies there’s nearly nothing they can’t do 💚 If you haven’t yet try egg roll in a bowl with coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Can be super healthy, inexpensive, and is so good. I like to eat it cold the second day. I love to keep pouches of salmon on hand to add to diced onions, pickles, and any other veggies I want to throw in to eat on a tub of arugula. On the rare occasion I eat pizza it’s cheese less
That was so much fun. In New Jersey we have to use reusable bags. They don’t have any plastic bags in the stores anymore. Very few stores have paper bags so if you forget your reusable bags in the car/home, you have to bring it all in one item at a time!
my granddaughter and i put them in the oven or air fryer and make pepperoni chips they are so good. and its low carb. I love anything crunchy just use parchment paper lots of oil that comes off of the pepperoni
Crystal and Aaron you are both great parents and I really enjoy watching your videos. You are a cute couple and always seem so happy together!!! I wish nothing but the best for you and your family
Crystal’s comment about Aaron being a Chicago boy made me laugh too hard.😂 Born and raised in central IL and most of the year you will see me in a sweatshirt and pants. Many days of summer I’m in pants as well. I wasn’t meant to be born in this weather!!! 😂😂
Plain Greek yogurt is good as a substitute for Sour Cream. Also mix 2 tbsp Greek yogurt with 1 tbsp Frank’s red hot sauce and 1 tsp olive oil. Mix with shredded chicken and if you like you can add celery in also. I make Buffalo chicken salad like that for sandwiches. Oh and barilla red lentil pasta is delicious too, if you are trying to go gluten free.
I tried those same chickpea noodles the other day from Walmart- they’re good but do leave a funny residue on the pan For me the worst part of grocery shopping is all of the lugging of the bags in and out. I do Walmart pickup now, always. It is so convenient.
Malinda is such an amazing mother to Scarlett she is so blessed to have an amazing mother so glad that you guys went grocery shopping together good luck with coaching Rylan and Logan basketball team I get so excited when you guys post can’t wait for more videos
melinda is such a great mom scarlet is such a great lil girl i love the relationship between you all i am also adopted and have close relationship with my parents as well love you guys so much hope to meet you one day
A less expensive, lower calorie and sugar oatmeal option is to buy the big container of oats (not quick oats), then barely cover with boiling water, and let sit until it's soaked in. You can add fruit, cottage cheese, yogurt, peanut butter, or my favorite is cinnamon and honey, which really boosts the immune system
Melinda, just fyi, peanuts are not classed as a nut as the grow underground. I am allergic to peanuts but other nuts as they grow on trees I don’t have a problem with. I am also allergic to salmon and peanuts but no other fish or nuts.
Ahhhhh I love you guys, and I know you love Scarlet, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take her to an allergist. She is far too young and tiny to be doing oral food challenges without having an epipen and/or a doctor nearby for observation. While it is true you can be allergic to just one nut, the proteins in nuts generally cross react, as do the facilities where they're processed. Without skin testing, blood testing, and then possibly oral challenges IN office; it will be very hard to figure out what all she is reacting to. If she has an IgE mediated allergic reaction with nuts, then every single time she eats the food she could have a more severe allergic response and potentially full blown anaphylaxis or death. Things like exercise or illness like a cold can lower the bodies response to fighting the allergy and make a reaction more severe as well. Aka the timing of when she is given a challenge food is important. I know allergy testing can be expensive, but they should have a community clinic that has a sliding scale or possibly free services. Food allergies are extremely difficult to test for because there are so many different types of allergic reactions like the IgE mediated, oral allergy syndrome, delayed onset reactions, mast cell reactions, etc. It is very important your doctor develop a baseline with her before she experiments with certain things. If she does have an actual allergy, eliminating it from the diet for 2-4 weeks will help, but then the introduction can be much more severe because her tolerance for the food will be lower. Aka anaphylaxis is more likely to occur and it's mandatory that she have an epi pen close by, as Benadryl can simply mask the allergic reaction and children have died as a result. Some nurses and doctors are ill-informed in relation to Benadryl masking as well and you would need to seek advice from an expert on when it is okay and when she might need overnight monitoring, etc. I remember getting hives in my throat as a 5 year old and just coughing a ton after eating eggs once. I don't remember having a reaction prior to that. I didn't know how to tell my parents what was going on. If she is coughing after eating a food, that could be a really good sign she is allergic to something. At age 21 I cut the food out, and now have anaphylaxis if it is consumed. Also, this is not just off of personal anecdote. Food allergies were a passion for me and I have not only studied extensively on my own but got my degree and had classes on medical nutrition related to allergies. A nut allergy is a big deal, but also they have a lot of treatments that could "cure" her if done in her childhood. So it's important she be tested for her own safety and longevity. There is a specialist in Long Beach that works with food allergies. He has developed a method to cure food allergies, but his program is very expensive and requires many visits and eating specific foods. Also if you can't find a good food allergist in AZ, Rady's in San Diego is renowned for their pediatric food allergy research and treatments. Dr. Laubach and the whole Asthma and Allergy practice off Ruffin rd is related to Rady's and they are all phenomenal too. I really really really hope you guys see this. Not trying to freak you out, food allergies really aren't something to figure out on your own. Love you guys, stay safe! Sorry it's so long. Food allergy advocacy is also passion of mine.
PS: Hannah might benefit from seeing someone at Rady's as well, especially before she ages out of pediatrics. (The clinic I listed will still see adults, but the clinic inside Rady's that has a few more specialists for celiacs and EoE, will NOT see a patient after a certain age.) Dr. Inderpal Randhawa is the MD in Long Beach, I HIGHLY recommend at least looking at it. I'm not sure if Hannah would be a candidate, but Scarlett might. It's life changing and he only accepts
Some cereals have been doing toys again but it’s not the same as when we were kids. It’s in plastic and outside of the plastic in the box on top or in the bottom! Lol.

You guys are amazing parents, and I *LOVE* Aarons energy at the end of the vlogg ❤❤❤
Best parents ever your children are all so blessed❤
So cool and neat that you took Melinda and Scarlett shopping Crystal and Aaron and Joe.😊
My kids love those tube yogurts Scarlett picked out. A fun mom hack we put them in the freezer for a nice frozen treat. ❤❤❤
I tried those same chickpea noodles the other day from Walmart- they’re good but do leave a funny residue on the pan
For me the worst part of grocery shopping is all of the lugging of the bags in and out. I do Walmart pickup now, always. It is so convenient.
Greek yogurt garlic cucumber olive oil salt and vinegar are the ingrentiens for Jajiki. A perfect dip for fish or meat (greek recipie)
Aaron and Joe singing I want it that way hehe my jam!!
Be careful as not all gluten free stuff is healthier they tend to add more sugar, salt and fats in them to make them taste better
Malinda is such an amazing mother to Scarlett she is so blessed to have an amazing mother so glad that you guys went grocery shopping together good luck with coaching Rylan and Logan basketball team I get so excited when you guys post can’t wait for more videos
Love your hair color Crystal it glows you up really nicely. I think you're a beautiful Nana, grandma sounds so old.

Can I just say this vlog made my day ❤️ I wish I could meet you all at list once. Truly are amazing family! Love you all!
Greek plain yog is great with dill or whatever dried herbs and use for dipping chips or raw veggies! Cucumbers for the win!
Melinda i use Greek yogurt as sour cream its so good. I also have put different seasoning in to make my own veggie dip with greek yogurt.
You can sub plain Greek yogurt for sour cream in any recipe! I also like to blend it with my pasta sauce to make it creamy
Y’all have to try the “melt the cheese in the pan then roll it up and sprinkle with garlic powder & dip in ranch dressing” great snack!!
Omg your hair is beautiful I love the new color!❤
It's life changing and he only accepts
jamie is so cuteee and melinda is doing an incredible job everyone can be so blessed to have you guys as their parents🙏🏻❤️
Some cereals have been doing toys again but it’s not the same as when we were kids. It’s in plastic and outside of the plastic in the box on top or in the bottom! Lol.
What a wonderful thing you are doing for you adult kids!
That was a fun shopping vlog! ♥️
So cute Scarlet was trying to tell her to say Walgreens. I think Scarlet has a favorite store. 😍😍 you guys are an amazing family.
The trufru ice creams are so good I love the chocolate covered strawberries
Pepperoni in cottage cheese is so good. I always do pickles in cottage cheese
Hello crazy Pieces thank you for sharing another amazing video you are wonderful people and I appreciate you so much ❤❤
It’s so nice to see Aaron and Joe helping shop forMelinda
They do still have toys in some cereal, some times... not like when we were young but they do have them.
It was hilarious when Aaron and Joe where left with the camera.
What a blessing for Melinda and scarlet.
You’re hair is looking so great it really fits you!😊
I love the enjoy life chocolate chip cookies. When I had to be gluten and dairy free for a while, I really liked being able to eat those. One of my old jobs the company is closed now, but the building we worked in used to be where enjoy life was located. They were in the building before us.😀
I laughed when you said Aaron dips out on putting groceries away... I always had my son bring groceries in from the car, and I put them away then he grew up and moved out... Now my Husband brings the groceries in and of course, I put the groceries away... Love the video, Melinda is such a nice Woman...❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰
love you guys 😘😘
Walmart usually has parking aisle numbers. Take a picture 😊
