Hello! Thank you for the great video. I’ve started playing CoH 2 recently with some friends who are veterans of the game, this video was amazing for players like me , please keep making them to cover all mechanics and strategy i want to learn and not hold back my team mates with my little experience :)
More Tips: All Units in Company of heroes have veterancy, is not worth sacrify a veteran unit, even if you have the manpower to buy another one Now that you know that, receiving damage from your opponent gives you a little XP, so if you are being suppressed, as long as you are SURE that your squad is not being COMPLETELY WIPE, you can still earn some XP for veterancy by just taking damage
@@auxiliarypriest7548 you are right, we feed them vet as we gain less vet than them, but there is 2 things you have to think of 1-what your opponent does is out of your reach, meaning that even if he has good or bad units, what he does is out of your reach and there is nothing you can do about, WHAT YOU CAN DO, is controlling your units, good or bad units, you have the freedom and the capacity to outplay and win, because is in your reach to do what you want with your units, with that said, is better to have veteran units and so does the enemy, than having non-veterans and so the enemy 2-This is an example, in chess, one of the biggest games of strategy, both sides have the same units, the only thing that matters is how you used them.

Plenty of reasons not to preorder a game, but if you really want it, then do it. At the end of the day, you're gonna buy it anyway since you're excited to play in the first place.
Because relic hasn't been delivering a good game for a decade? And Coh2 was a mess when it first come out? If you want to pre-order it sure it's your wallet, I will just argue that pre-ordering is encouraging bait-and-switch tactics from developers (aka they can just make a pile of garbage and hype it up/make empty promises to make money) and watting for a few days doesn't hurt you as a gamer at all.
Yeah, Im new to this video game franchise. I wasnt aware that the release of the previous game was a mess. So that definitely adds more to think about along with the bugs seen during the demo period. Thanks for everyones input. I hope the release will surpass our cautious expectations
@@Bobbacuda RTS games rarely ever release without bugs and balancing issues. That said, by all accounts CoH3 is really fun and is pretty robust at launch. The beta is already far better than CoH2 was in its launch condition. I've seen enough to preorder myself, I can't wait to dive back in... Personally, I'd say go for it.
Seems to be the same speed as it was in vCoH1. In CoH2 was weapon depended (maxims were deploying faster than MG 42s). The slowest is in Bk mod and in my opinion is for the better. If a player is very good at micro, he just repositions the MG very fast and you have minimum to no time to react and flank it...
@@dimitrisoikonomou3568 yup that makes sense. Im just thinking it might be a bit too strong for Wer players (I am one so no complaints). Im one of those very good at moving my MGs players...so It feel its a bit OP. Lets see how it plays out. I didnt notice it in the tech test.
@@darkerdayzud I personally consider MG teams much stronger than most early game units. Having the freedom to move their cone ever so slightly behind every time they get attacked is very annoying on the receiving end. In Bk mod, I used to make many people rage quit by having one MG team watch the frontal MG team (aka it cannot get flanked). It helps that most people are stubborn, but it's really hard to deal with that strat unless you get lucky with mortars one shooting them (and that doesn't happen often)
I can`t even set up a machine gun on the xbox tutorial , driving me nuts . It`s supposed to be a tutorial but says nothing how to set it up , driving me nuts.
Pathethic... compare this against coh 2... on the road zero cover and still needs ages to pinn blobb yellow. Hmg had green cover still 50% of squad dead and blobb nearly made it so close they could kiss the gunners... all of that over OPEN ROAD. I guess this is pre hmg pinning buff from patches but even after patch its still really favours blobbers and hmg is not really a hardcounter gainst blobbs. Correct me if iam wrong but i think what coh 3 also lacks compared to previous titles is that small arms fire on pinned squad helps maintaining the pinning effect even when hmg not directly firing on spoken squad.
@@HelpingHans "Infantry take significantly less damage from small arms fire (SMGs, rifles, machine guns, etc.) when suppressed or pinned. That's why they dive to the ground, after all!" -CoH2 wiki Strange how they decided to change this for CoH3 when it was a stapple in coh 1 and 2

I'm so excited for COH3!~ Great video!
I'll miss cheatmod II. That mod made experimenting really easy. It would be cool if Relic added a sandbox mode where you could test various things.
I believe Janne252 the creator of that mod is working on another one I believe :).

Nice video. For those of us new to COH getting to know the mechanics of the game is vital. That aspect is really not explained well in game itself
Thanks a lot Hans, will post this in my discord for my friends to watch as well.👍
Could you please make a video going through all units, one faction at a time? With tips please?
I have faction boot camps planned :).

Company of Heroes Master Class.
They really done a great job of making CoH 3 looks like a mobile phone game
Exactly.
Excited for the game, liking the content, learned a bit already! Subscribed & see you around, Hans :) Nice bathrobe btw.
I appreciate your guides! Super helpful to someone who always ate shit in multiplayer.
MGs do suppression to infantry. n1 tip of the week :D

Could add that you can move between machine gun bursts. As in if your in green cover - you can runaway between bursts/reloads
Are you going to cover how you can stun tanks?
Wait did you say R to retreat? I hope we can rebind the keys.
You can, R is default tho I believe.

what’s going to happen with the ranking system, are there going to be any changes there ?
Ranking, ladders etc will not be ready for launch sadly.
Which edition are yall getting?
Premium
I bite my pillow and accept it, bought the Premium one due to we get the first expansion/dlc for free.
@TrueDesire존 Agreed, eithout the first expansion, I wouldn't have done it either.
Im excited to play coh3 and I have been thinking of pre-buying it. Are there any reasons not to pre-buy it? What do you guys think?

Hey there, if I preorder it can I play the game now?
no
Does anybody know the difference between the MG34 and the MG42 in COH3? I could compare Wikipedia stats, but are they the same in the game?
Why would they be the same? They have never been the same in coh.
Rate of fire on the mg42 is way higher. In coh2 that ment the mg42 was way better (and faster) than the mg34 with suppressing etc
mg42 is better than the mg34 irl and in game as well.

No they take more.
