I used to live on a reservation in New Mexico. If the Pueblo police caught someone with alcohol and pulled them over , they weren't arrested The police officer would have a drink too.

LOL loved the episode when Mrs Slocumbe got drunk on wine during German Week at Grace Bros, and had the slap fest with Capt Peacock! . 🤣

Can somebody please explain to me what 'tooroth' means? (maybe i misspelled it). Carol says that to Chrissie after being outed for drinking 2 bottles of wine. Dutch is my native language so I get kinda curious when coming across english words that are not used often anymore. Many thanks in advance.

They said 'Too rough' as in the words being said too or about them were too harsh. Many sketches that season has one of them uttering it. I think it's some kind of inside joke.

Not easy acting drunk. Harvey is more realistic in this than Carol. Love the closet is the elevator!!! Lol. That is a good one. There is nothing more better than being sober...around drinkers...and watch how stupid they act. The best at acting drunk were Jackie Gleason and Art Carney in the Honeymooners show-- a newspaper reporter stops them on the street and asks them who is the boss in their house. Later... They share a bottle of wine that Alice and Trixie have watered down. Great acting!

I have have started watching the Carol and Sis sketchs, do you have the sketch when Roger came home and to the women how he was mugged and it turnout be a olderly man (who's wallet HE took by mistake)
