Shahi Tukda or Shahi Tukra Recipe- a rich royal Mughlai dessert of fried bread coated with sugar syrup and topped, soaked with fragrant creamy thickened milk or rabri and garnished with dry fruits. Shahi Tukda
Ingredients
six bread slices
Clarified butter as required
For sugar syrup
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup Desi Khaand /sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp keora / rose water
2 cups full fat milk
1 tbsp con flour
1/2 cup milk powder/ 100 gm mawa
1/4 cup bura/ sugar
pinch of saffron
For garnish -pistachio, almonds, tutti-frutti and silver leave
*You can serve it to 6 -7 persons .
*you can store it in fridge for 3 to 4 days.
