Personally, I'm glad that McFarlane waited to make this version of Wonder Woman. I mean, let's think back on the first several waves of McFarlane figures compared to what we have now. I think she wouldn't have been as great as this version is now.
Todd really needs to get rid of that card holder and put in a extra headsculpt. Knowing collectors, we don’t have room to display the card. And i wouldn’t want to, i would rather have extra headsculpt instead of the card holder and display stand.
Isn’t it ironic how Todd himself once mentioned how female characters don’t really sell or something to that extent in an interview and YET this WonderWoman sold out pretty much everywhere, he did a great job building up hype and demand for a classic WonderWoman after releasing millions of WWs of different variations my question is WHY DIDNT HE GO TO THE REBIRTH STYLE TO COMPLETE THE REBIRTH TEAM SINCE Todd has released literally every member in rebirth format ie SUPES, Bats, Hal, John Stewart, MartianManhunter, SuperGirl, Wally west Barry Allen Billy Batson, with the one off exception of Aquaman who’s only close to rebirth form is the endless winter, it’s crazy because he has the buck in WonderWoman 1984 suit WHICH IS BASED OFF THE REBIRTH LOOK, anyways I’m glad we got this one
Plus labeling action figure collectors as future serial killers if they don't get what they want as a child made me not like Todd much since then he keeps making ridiculous comments like that and at his age he should be ashamed of himself

I got mine in the mail yesterday! Just out of curiosity would you consider making a video of your 10 most wanted figures for Mcfarlane to make next? It would be interesting to see what characters or designs you want most.
Classic is based on perspective of age of who is speaking about something. The face looks great and I love the metallic red and the gold in her costume. Mine should be arriving the day after Christmas. The ax isn’t new? I don’t recall have it with any other versions.
Just got 2 of these Wonder Woman figures delivered from GameStop and I must say I think it's one of the best McFarlane DC figures to date. I have almost zero complaints about this one. I'm not wild about the lasso, but I just took the one from the Flash movie WW and used it for this figure to hang off her belt. And yes the shoulder joints are a bit of a bummer, but they're easy to push into place once you pose the arm the way you want it. Nothing else about the figure bothers me at all. Not even the boot treads. So over all I personally give this figure a 9.0. I'd say it just might be the best classic WW figure ever made by any company. Super glad to have her to fill out my McFarlane 7-inch classic Justice League.
She is great. I only have a couple complaints that I’m sure you heard in the video. I don’t rank her quite as high as you do but she is excellent definitely the favorite wonder woman that I own.
Woah, woah, woah... wait a minute! How can the box say "22 moving parts" (like many other McFarlane figures) when she doesn't have a torso articulation??
I just picked this up. Obviously, secondhand market. As it sold out almost instantly. After shipping, taxes etc. I paid $90. I almost never go above retail but I couldn’t stand not having an iconic looking Wonder Woman in my collection at this scale anymore. I’m literally staring at it wondering whether or not to open it. I feel the moment I do, McFarland will announce a new version that is actually available everywhere and that won’t sell out with a sword and shield, enough for me, for $23.
It's classic WW to me. Just my opinion of course. And this is because this is the first version of WW that I was introduced to in life. The Linda Carter and 80's era designs which this closely resembles. Iconic to me would be any of the WW, they are iconic because of the concept of WW herself. Those feet drive me crazy, and not in a good way! Ha! Mattel DC Universe Classics, (and notice they called it Classics line), got it right with their WW. Feet included Other than that, great review as usual.
This is a nice looking figure. It's not perfect, but it's nice. I don't care for the head. If I get this figure, I will make sure I have a custom head to display it with. The face isn't doing it for me. I also like Wonder Woman with curly hair.
Unfortunately Amazon won’t be giving me our Amazonian Princess until January 5th as they have pushed back the release date. I want this and I need this now! lol! Love how we get reused ♻️ accessories from Endless Winter ❄️ Gold Label. For the lasso I am going to use the Todd McFarlane designed WW lasso to put on her hip. I think Todd intentionally made his figure have trigger fingers because he hated the rules that his figures can’t have guns. That metallic red looks so delicious. Can’t wait!
boomerang, starfire, and penguin??? to the toddfather is COOKING. its just exciting he is getting iconic characters done and has been doing them right now

I got mine in the mail yesterday! Just out of curiosity would you consider making a video of your 10 most wanted figures for Mcfarlane to make next? It would be interesting to see what characters or designs you want most.
My TRUE 10 most wanted would probably be so wierd, 10 obscure or civilian Batman characters. It's hard to make a true top 10 wanted list.
Pretty cool figure…. My only “nitpick” wish she way a longer neck…. Glad they incorporated “musculature” on the legs and arms….
For me, the butterfly shoulder joints are the worst thing.
That’s the issue with articulation on “exposed” skin…. It ends up looking jarring….
This is worse than usual
GREAT review. Socks on the butterfly joint. But I will still pick it up. The extended fingers should be use for maybe a running towards pose?? 😮
For a pistol lol
fantastic review sir! quick question: are her 3 weapons soft plastic or hard plastic?
Semi soft
Not as bad as some
Not super stiff which is good, hard plastic weapons can break easily
